An easy dinner for the whole family, this Asian Chicken Meatballs recipe is cooked in the oven. Just make, bake and serve!
Do you have a favourite cuisine? Mine has to be Asian food… and I especially love an Australia/Asian infusion. It usually means fresh, vibrant flavours and I’m always keen for that.
These meatballs are just that, but home-style and not at all fancy. They are so moorish and delicious, and pack some flavour. I love that they’re filling, but also light and flavour-full.
Chicken is such an affordable, easy option for family-friendly meals. We also love baked chicken quesadillas, sticky chicken nibbles, or Vietnamese chicken noodles.
The kids eat them with rice, but we tend to just eat them with bok choy, or with a salad. This cabbage salad goes well with them too.
Tips for making Asian Chicken Meatballs:
Swap out chicken for pork. If you can’t find chicken mince or even if your family prefers pork, simply swap out the chicken for pork. It works just as well. Beef mince will work too, but I find that pork and chicken are my preference for this recipe.
Mix into a salad. If you’re serving this dish at a BBQ, serve it in a big bowl tossed through a delicious Asian salad.
Make in bulk. This is an easy recipe to double, or even triple and freeze (for up to 2 months) so that you can pull them out of the freeze, heat, and serve with rice for a simple mid-week meal. Ideally, freeze in batches so you can defrost with ease and have no wastage.
