Sticky Honey & Soy Chicken Nibbles

An easy recipe to make (and even easier to eat) these Sticky Honey & Soy Chicken Nibbles are absolutely delicious!

Sticky Honey & Soy Chicken Nibbles

As a mega fan of cooking shows {they’re my jam!} I’ve always been intrigued with pressure cookers. All the chefs rave about them, and how time efficient they are and how they jam-pack flavour into a meal in a small window of time. I wanted in.

Who doesn’t want to experience that cool thing where they open the valve and let the steam out. I might watch TOO many cooking shows.

Sticky Honey & Soy Chicken Nibbles

These take only five minutes to cook in the pressure cooker, and then for extra crisp I tossed them in the air fryer for ten minutes… meanwhile the marinade sauteed in the Crock-Pot and got super sticky and delicious. You are going to want to bottle that sauce up and drown EVERYTHING in it. These are going to be your new favourite meal.

While I love these sticky chicken wings for an easy hands-on dinner, you might also like some of my other chicken recipes, like Asian Chicken Meatballs, Chicken Quesadillas, or Slow Cooker Chicken Soup.

Tips for making Sticky Chicken Nibbles

Swap chicken nibbles for wings. Chicken nibbles are simply a wing cut in two, making them a more manageable size to snack on. Chicken wings are often cheaper, so you can swap nibbles for wings, and just cook for 3 minutes longer in the crock-pot.

Not a fan of ginger? Leave it out. While it creates a beautiful fresh flavour to these chicken nibbles, you can omit the ginger if you or the kids aren’t a fan.

Sticky Honey & Soy Chicken Nibbles

  • Author: Chantelle

Ingredients

Scale

1kg chicken nibbles

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 garlic cloves, crushed

1/2 teaspoon minced ginger

1 teaspoon of sesame seeds

1 spring onion, sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken into the Crock-Pot, and then pour the sauce ingredients over the top, and stir to combine.
  2. On the Crock-Pot select the Pressure Cooker option, and set the timer to five minutes. Make sure the pressure cooker valve is closed, and press start.
  3. Once the timer goes off, open the valve and let the steam out. Open the Crock-Pot and remove the chicken nibbles into a bowl using tongs. Set the leftover sauce to saute for 15 minutes with the valve open.
  4. If you want to add a little bit of crispiness to your chicken nibbles, you can cook them in your air-fryer for 10 minutes, or place them in the oven at 200ºC for 12 minutes.
  5. Once crispy, place into a serving bowl. Spoon over the sticky sauce, and sprinkle with the sesame seeds and spring onion. Enjoy!
