👩🏻🍳 How to make cheese rolls
- Preheat and prep
Preheat your oven to 170ºC (fan-forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Make the cheesy mix
In a medium saucepan, combine the evaporated milk, soup mix, and grated cheese. Stir over medium heat until the cheese is melted and everything is combined. Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Build the rolls
Cut the crusts off the bread slices, and roll with a rolling pin to make slightly flat. Spread the cheesy mixture generously over each slice. Roll the bread up tightly. You can use toothpicks to hold them together if needed.
- Bake to perfection
Place the rolls seam-side down on your tray. Brush with a little melted butter for extra golden goodness. Bake for 10–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve
Serve warm with sweet chilli sauce or your favourite dipping sauce. Try not to eat the whole tray yourself (no judgment if you do).
