Week 6 | February | Photo A Day

Howdy!

I hope you’re dandy!

I know I’m easily excited, but today I truly have good reason. I have one of my favourite artists creating the list this week. Lauren Merrick was someone I’ve wanted for a long time, and she’s so busy it’s been had to nab her, but I finally did. See, excitement plus!

Lauren is a talented artist, as you can tell from the list below. Isn’t is whimsical. You can check out more from Lauren over here. Thanks for sharing your creativity with me and everyone Lauren.

How to remember what the prompts are

+ If you’re a lucky iPhone or iPad owner, you can use the Little Moments App to remind you of what the prompts are, as well as make your photos a bit fancy. You can grab the App here.
+ For all devices and PC, we upload the prompts which you can download automatically into your phone or PC calendar. For Smartphones & Mac Calendar, click here. For HTML for web viewing, click here. They”ll be ready before Monday.
+ You can also print out the list, save it as your screensaver or save it to your camera roll.

Often people will ask what for more details on what each prompts mean. It really is up to you’re own interpretation and creativity, but here’s some help if you’re stuck.

2. Mail
Yes, the stuff you get in your mailbox. Maybe it’s a nice time to write someone a letter and be a little creative with it. Or take a photo of something you received.
3. Water
In your cup, out of the tap, at the beach, in the river or lake, in a bottle… any which way you like!
4. Reward
A reward is an item you get in recognition for work you’ve done or something you’ve achieved. What’s a reward you’ve received or given?
5. Something blue
Look around you for something blue. Anything! Shoot it and share it.
6. Makes me smile
What makes you happy? Or who makes you happy? Find it and share a photo.
7. Stripes
Where can you see stripes? Think beyond a fabric pattern or print {but that’s totally fine as well!} and see if you can see it in buildings, in fencing, in the powerlines… see what you can find.
8. In my bag
Show off what you’ve got in your bag today. I’m slightly scared to look in mine!

Have fun! x
