Every now and then, a theme for Photo A Day just clicks — and glimmers was one of those magical ones.
Last year, we spent a whole month hunting for tiny sparks of joy: the soft, quiet, often-missed moments that make an ordinary day feel a little lighter. And the response? Beautiful. Your photos were gentle, thoughtful, real… and they reminded us how much good still exists in the smallest places.
So we’re bringing it back for 2026 — a whole month dedicated to glimmers again.
No complicated prompts. No pressure. Just one simple invitation:
📸 Notice something that makes you feel calm, grateful, or quietly happy
📸 Take a photo of it

🌼 WHAT IS A GLIMMER?
A glimmer is the opposite of a trigger.
It’s a tiny moment that tells your brain and body: “Hey, you’re safe. You’re okay. There’s good here.”
It could be:
- Morning light through a curtain
- A funny text from a friend
- The first sip of coffee
- A quiet drive with music
- Your dog doing something ridiculous
Nothing has to be perfect. Nothing has to be staged.
You’re just learning to spot the soft good things that were already there.
And the more you look for glimmers, the more they seem to appear.
