If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me where to stay in Seminyak… well, I’d probably have enough to book another Bali trip. Choosing accommodation is basically a sport for me — I love researching, reading reviews, and finding those hidden gems. So I figured, why not put all my favourites in one handy blog post?

Whether you’re after a luxe beachfront resort, a family-friendly villa, or a budget stay with great vibes, I’ve got you covered. Let’s find your perfect Seminyak stay…

Where to stay in Seminyak

Which area of Seminyak is right for you?

Seminyak is super close to the airport, so it’s a great first or last stop on your Bali adventure. It sits between Legian and Canggu, and while it’s not huge, each part of Seminyak has its own little vibe. Here’s a quick breakdown to help you choose:

🌴 Jalan Camplung Tanduk (Southern Seminyak)
Right on the edge of Legian, this spot has more of a beachy, party-ish vibe. Think Double Six Beach, La Plancha, and easy access to sunset cocktails. Traffic can be a bit chaotic here, but accommodation here is generally close to the beach and walkable.

🛍️ Seminyak Beach & Jalan Kayu Aya (Eat Street)
This is the buzzing heart of Seminyak. Boutique shopping, cute cafes, Seminyak Square, and some of the best food around. It’s busy, yep – but everything is within walking distance. Great for families, foodies, and anyone who wants to be in the thick of it.

🌺 Petitenget
A little more chilled but still close to everything. You’ll find some luxe hotels here (hi, W Hotel and Alila), plus Potato Head and fab restaurants. It’s perfect if you want a balance between beach time and boutique browsing—great for couples too.

🌅 Batu Belig
Right up near Canggu, this area is a bit more laid-back. It’s not as walkable, so it helps to have a scooter or be happy to grab taxis. That said, it’s quieter, still has beach access, and is ideal if you’re after a more relaxed, tucked-away feel.
