  1. I’ve been obsessed with overnight oats lately. I like to add 2 tablespoons of white chia seeds to mine, you can’t taste them but they’re full of omega 3’s (or something haha!) and they make me feel like I’m being really healthy. Sometimes I make mine with a tablespoon of natural peanut butter, a cheeky bit of maple syrup and some cinnamon. So yum!

  2. That sounds delicious. I’ll have to give it a go. I am lucky enough to have calm mornings at the moment…it’s just me and my 14 month old son in the mornings. I know that will change as he gets older, we add to the family and we have to get out the door by a certain time. Jx

  3. This sounds so good!!! What is the texture of the oatmeal like in the morning? Chewy? I’ve never tried this method before but very interested.

  4. Lovely, must try this, the vanilla is a great idea. I’ve been having bircher muesli off and on, oats soaked in apple juice, with half macadamias and craisins. Outrageously yummy. My total dream would be for the kids to eat this too… no luck so far.

  5. Delicious! When I make this oatmeal cups I use frozen bananas and a spoon of Nutella plus the yogurt, milk and oats. I love them and very filling.

  6. This will be perfect for me to eat in the traffic on the way to work after the gym 🙂 Especially in a jar – no leaks!! Thanks Chantelle!

  7. Oh brilliant. There are times when I have to work 11am-2pm but pre 11am is too early for lunch and post 2pm is getting into the hunger stage by the time I get home. Something like this would be a perfect for a late morning fill up 🙂

  8. Jamie Oliver has a recipe something like this although it’s more wintry with sultanas and cinnamon! I used to do this when I worked at Gatwick airport as we were unable to take milk through security.
    I love porridge!

    • Oh gosh, I think as long as the yoghurt was in date it should be right. Can you do the sniff test and check? 😛

  9. I hate the taste of greek yogurt, and oatmeal is too mushy weird for me…but this might cure all the texture issues I have with them all. At least it’s worth a try, right. Off to the store today and we’ll see how it goes.

    • Do you hate the sourness of Greek yoghurt? I think it’s about finding the right one. If you’re in Australia I like the one something union. My mum got me onto it, and it’s delish. Let me know if you like it. x

  10. Yum! Sounds delish!

Re the greek yoghurt, I used to hate it. But now I make my own so I can make it as tart or mild as I like (I’m not keen on really tart yoghurt). Look for EsiYo in the supermarket – so worth it to make your own fresh yoghurt and so easy (my kids can do it).
