Looking for an easy nachos recipe that’s quick, cheap, and satisfying? These $5.90 bogan nachos are ready in 15 minutes using just a few simple ingredients.

I made these “bogan nachos” for $5.90… and I wasn’t really even sure they’d work.
But they did.
This recipe came out of my challenge to feed my family of 4 for under $100 for the week, and this was one of those meals that’s less about ticking every nutritional box… and more about getting something warm, filling, and affordable on the table.
Are they fancy? No.
Are they traditional nachos? Also no.
Did most of the family eat them without complaining? Yes 😅
They’re quick, cheesy, comforting, and made with pantry staples. And on nights when you’re tired, busy, or just trying to stretch the grocery budget a little further… that’s exactly what you need.
