Good morning sunshines!
Today I’m bringing you the list for week ten, and it’s a really special one to me. Rafiki Mwema is the charity that I support. I sponsor a sweet little girl named Tabitha, and you can see her on the beautiful list below. Sarah, from Castle Design and Rafiki Mwema, designed the list for us {I can highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to create a blog or website for you}.
For those that aren’t familiar with Rafiki Mwema, let me tell you a bit about it. Rafiki Mwema means ‘loyal friend’. It’s a safe house for very young girls that have some very bad things happen to them {you can read more here}. It’s so sad what has happened to these beautiful children, but Rafiki Mwema helps to heal the girls, through therapy and as well as taking them through the court system to further protect them.
If you were in the position to donate to Rafiki Mwema or sponsor a child, you can read about it here. I know that not everyone is in a position to donate, so I also started a sweet thing where we could write letters to the girls and send over stickers {they LOVE stickers!}.
I hope you enjoy our charity list for the year. I hope you have a great week of photo-taking. xx

How to remember what the prompts are
+ If you’re a lucky iPhone or iPad owner, you can use the Little Moments App to remind you of what the prompts are, as well as make your photos a bit fancy. You can grab the App here.
+ For all devices and PC, we upload the prompts which you can download automatically into your phone or PC calendar. For Smartphones & Mac Calendar, click here. For HTML for web viewing, click here.
+ You can also print out the list, save it as your screensaver or save it to your camera roll.
A little more about the prompts:
WEEK 10 | MAR | 2015
2. Part of me
Share a part of you. Whether it’s a physical part of you, or something that you hold dear.
3. Open
It’s not closed, it’s open. It could be a door, a jar, ANYTHING. Or maybe even a very cool open sign on a shop?
4. Geometric
You remember maths? Triangles, squares, circles. Get your geometric on!
5. Out the window
Take a photo looking out the window. What can you see? Let us see it too?
6. Remedy
A remedy is like a ‘fix’ for something. A band-aid, a glass of wine, a walk in the park. What’s your remedy?
7. Sweet
Think candy, cakes, sweet puppy dogs, chubby faces… all the sweet things. Which will you pick?
8. Young
What’s been here only a short time? Take a photo of it and share it.
Have some photo-taking fun! x
Thanks for the list and for sharing about Rafiki Mwema. I sponsor a child in Tanzania, and the organization sent out a notice saying how children who receive letters from their sponsors perform better in school. Obviously letters mean a lot to them! I am going to write a few to Rafiki Mwema this afternoon. 🙂
It’s such a small thing to do, but it makes such a difference. xxx
How can I take part to Photo a Day? And when can I start? I only have a blog, I don’t have instagram, and I don’t often use my facebook account!
I have the app on my iPhone but it won’t let me see the current list till I update the app. I can’t update the app because I don’t have enough space on my phone 🙁 Tried loading it on my iPad and I couldn’t get it! Hopefully I can add my daily picture from the app and use the list from here.
Sounds like a great program (I just checked out the website) – I wish I could afford to sponsor a girl – maybe someday.
