This morning Hubby took his crew out for a session at the beach in the surfboat. The weather has been really warm all week, and the temperatures are set to sky rocket this weekend. I’m not looking forward to the heatwave weekend that has been forecast. Ick.
Out in the water Hubby and his crew were checking out a whole heap of (that’s called a school, right?) of salmon going crazy, when all of a sudden up popped a fin. No, it wasn’t a dolphin. It was a fin of the shark kind.
Of course when I was told this story I was like many of you reading now. What, a shark? What did you do? Did you quickly come back to shore? Were you scared?
My cool as a cucumber Hubby wasn’t scared at all. It was only about 2 metres, he says. It’s not Jaws or anything.
The boys continued on with their session, spotting another shark later on. Of course, continuing with their cool as a cucumber attitudes. Nothing to worry about.
I am guessing the beaches are going to be packed this weekend with these high temperatures. Let’s hope everyone stays in one whole piece, limbs intact. But anyways, they have nothing to worry about – it’s not Jaws or anything. xx

Gosh – must be lots of fish around for the sharks – hopefully they will stick to munching on the fish this weekend!

I wish my hubby was as nonchalant about sharks! I can barely get him in the water – which is a HUGE problem for me. I’m a water baby through and through! 😉

This would be Will and me too. I’d be asking all kinds of questions, wanting the play by play and every detail of his emotions. He’s tell me it was cool, no big deal, and move on 🙂
