As I mentioned this morning my sister is getting married in less than 3 months now. I had 18 months or so to plan my wedding, and we’re planning my sister’s wedding in about 8 months. It’s fast in the world of weddings. And when I say ‘we’ I’m actually not really doing that much. Just a few things here and there.
I’m one of the four bridesmaids, and as of a few weeks ago our dresses have been sorted. Scarily enough none of us bridesmaids have seen them or tried them on {obviously} so I have everything crossed that they all work out perfectly.
We still need to work on our shoe situation. We’re thinking nude shoes, either heels, wedges or flats {it’s a beach wedding}. Here’s a few that I’ve stumbled across so far…
Once we’ve worked out the shoe situation, we’re moving on to the Hen’s Day! Fun.
If you see any nude shoes in your travels, think of me/us.
When’s the last time you splurged on a new pair of shoes? What do they look like?
Beach wedding == flats or wedges. Or bare feet. Don't even THINK of stillettos
Wedges for a beach wedding, definitely! And matte, not shine. I find nude heels with shine (like image 1) a little too “polished” looking. Don't you think?
I recently bought the MOST beautiful nude pair of wedges from Nine West, simply stunning! Blogged here:

Not only are they super cute but they are ultra comfortable as well, I was the only one left wearing my heels on the dance floor at the wedding! Plus they look just as good with jeans as they do with a gorgeous dress!
I think nude wedges are cute 🙂
I blogged about my newest shoes here http://allinthedaze.blogspot.com/2011/09/things-im-loving_23.html
I am on the lookout for some nude flats also 🙂
Oooh I love the ones in the first pic. Nude shoes are HOT (and they make your legs look longer).
I am so excited for your sis and I can't wait to read all about her big day and the hens (fun!!).
The last pair of shoes I bought were my wedding shoes 6 months ago. LOVE them! xx
I noticed this morning that Gary Castle Double Bay is having a sale on bride/bridesmaids shoes. Some great styles. I bought my wedding shoes there 7 years ago 🙂
Love the nude wedges. Super Sarah's are super cute!
I am loving nude shoes right now – but I'm yet to find the perfect pair. Hope you find yours soon! The wedges are cute – particularly for a beach wedding!
Nude wedges for sure! (I'm crossing my fingers thinking number four!)
I'm sure it will all be so beautiful. You do have good taste, you know!
xx
I'm heading to the big smoke on Thursday nude shoe shopping with my Mum for my bridesmaids! Fun fun. Hen's day at local country races also sorted – fun fun!
I LOVE the shoes in the main pic – simple, gorgeous shape. But not for the beach. Flatties or wedges on sand are the only options really! I think a summer sandal would look really nice with the beachie theme…

Ooh I looooove nude shoes. Wedges would look great for a beach wedding – the perfect mix of casual but fancy. It's been far too long since I treated myself to a new pair of shoes, but with a summer clothes shopping expedition planned for tomorrow, I'm thinking tomorrow could be my lucky day! xxx
Geez girly you had me going there I thought you were going to get your kit off and go nude! For a good cause of course! Good luck in finding the nudie shoes 🙂
NICE! Id go for wedges if on the beach!! V CUTE!
I agree wedges for a beach wedding!
My last shoe purchase was actually a pair of nude heels from Birdsnest.com.au
Love them!
Mine are red wedges with wicker (think Kate Middleton)
Have you looked at styletread? Wittner or novo shoes.
i tried and tried with each new restock and then finally snagged myself a pair of hello sunshine jeffrey campbell wedges from modcloth about 6 weeks ago…thankfully before the $ started falling!! love the mollini nudes (I have nine west suede nude ballet flats and pair of their shiny nude heels that are very similar to those ASOS ones. Tatum xx
Ooh, LOVE nude! The #4 wedges are gorgeous.
My last shoe splurge was a double splurge from Wittner – a pair of gorgeous nude wedges with a ruffle, and some tan boots for Winter. Lovely shoes make all the difference to a mummy uniform!
I am ALL about the nude shoe! I probably have about 10 pairs, in flats, heels, wedges. They go with everything! My BMs also wore nude heels and they looked brilliant. Great choice for your sister's big day! x
I'm obsessed with the wedge of late and have picked up a few beauties in recent weeks.
You can't beat a nude heel. You'll get plenty of wear out of it post wedding.
Ooooh my bridesmaids had nude shoes! They looked gorgeous. I would totally wedge on the beach.
I haven't splurged on shoes in the longest time… but they were beautiful navy and beige vintage '40s style heels. DELIGHTFUL!
Wedges for a beach wedding fo'sho. Although, heels and sand are not really friends. Maybe you could go for some simple flats for the ceremony and then change into some killer, sexy heels for the reception, etc?
My last shoe splurge was not much of a splurge at all. I needed some new shoes IMMEDIATELY or my toes were going on strike. $5 flats from KMart. Best $5 ever! Super cute, super comfy.
I want pair 1 in my life so badly!

I just bought a pair of nude pumps from Jane Debster when I was home last week and best bit was that they were on sale at David Jones.

I also just bought some wedges and sandals from Sambag – check them out!

You know I've never actually gone nude with my shoes! Though I'm starting to become a little swayed into purchasing a pair. Apparently, they are a must have of the season, so why not! ;o)
Love the pair in the pic here, they look hot!
It's been a while since I splurged on shoes. Probably the pair I'm wearing now. A Jane Debster pair of black suede ankle boots. They're comfy and have a grrrreat heel on them. How fun getting to pick out wedding shoes… look forward to seeing what you decide on! xo
Personally, I looove #2! Man, I'd love to go to a beach wedding! Have fun!
