How to make Weetbix Balls

  1. Add everything to the food processor

Place the Weet-Bix, dates, currants or sultanas, sunflower seeds, coconut, cocoa and water into a food processor.

  2. Process until sticky

Process the mixture until it starts to clump together and looks sticky. This can take a few minutes, so give it time. If it looks too dry, add a small splash of water and keep processing.

  3. Check the texture

The mixture should hold together easily when pressed between your fingers. If it’s still crumbly, add a little more water and process again.

  4. Roll into balls

Use a tablespoon to scoop out even portions and roll into balls. Slightly damp hands and a damp spoon help stop the mixture sticking.

  5. Chill and store

Place the balls in an airtight container and store in the fridge. They’ll firm up a little as they chill and keep well for several days.
