My favourite store: Papier D’Amour

Double Bay is one of my favourite spots in Sydney. It’s where I go for my beauty stuff, where one of my favourite cafes is, the best toy store ever and where my all time favourite shop is too. Papier D’Amour is where I would head first if I ever won lotto, for my instant fix of loveliness {and then I’d head straight for the real estate and then to buy a car, just so you know!}. It’s filled to the brim with beautiful things.

I thought I’d head to Papier D’Amour, snap some pics and share some of the loveliness with you all, because it’s too good to miss. I always get overwhelmed when I finally reach the counter, because I always spot a trillion things I’ve never seen before. I get so distracted, like a kid in a candy store, that’s exactly how it is.

I always buy my cards, ribbons and wrapping paper at Papier D’Amour, and unique gifts for family and friends too. I’ve been eye-ing off the beautiful Tutu dress for Lacey for far too long. Isn’t it beautiful?

Papier D’Amour also has an online store too, but if you’re in Sydney or planning a trip you have to visit. It’s just one of those shops that’s better in real life.

Do you have a favourite store? Where would you head first if you ever won lotto?

P.S. Phoebe, who is the brain behind Papier D’Amour, has just let me know you can do a little workshop with her on how to decorate your table when entertaining. Check it out here.

  1. I HEART Papier Damour!
I've used them for almost every significant event in the last few years – my wedding and birthday invites are still up on their walls!
I was just in there last week and was eying the cute little rabbit pendant you photographed above.
It's truly like a wonderland when you walk in – and your post captured the feeling perfectly.

  2. Ahhh Chantelle you are killing me with the details in this photos, it's all too pretty! I love the tutus, am eyeing them off for my nieces to wear at my wedding 😉

  3. I haven't been to Double Bay in years, might have to head down there soon. The shop looks gorgeous!

If I won the lotto I am pretty sure I would buy every item in Country Road. Every season I want to buy everything they put out but as a poor uni student I can't. *sigh*

  4. Hi Chantelle. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Lovely to see a new face. I've just had a little peek at your blog and love it. This little store looks gorgeous and I know I'd be like you and find a million things I want (who said anything about need?!) there. I don't really have a fav shop where I live. I'm still searching for a place I'd go to time and time again. That tutu dress is gorgeous and my Ruby would just love it too. I shall be popping back to read some more later. Have a great week.

  5. Oooo just the kind of store I LOVE! So many pretty things and yes, the tutu looks precious. I always say I'd be in trouble if I had a daughter, I go silly enough buying boys things… and things for my friends daughters!
I'm a big fan of Pretty In Pink… it doesn't break the bank, but everything is oh so lovely!

  6. went to the website, it's lovely. only problem is that now i want that hot pink diary with the heart lock that cost $100. if i won the lotto, i'd sit right here & go on a shopping spree on Etsy! xx
