M&M Easter Cookies Recipe

Hello! I hope you’re gearing up for a beautiful four days for Easter. It’s my favourite holiday, because there’s not a whole lot of pressure and it’s just pretty chill. Last weekend the girls and I made this recipe up, using yummy M&M Easter Eggs that we had lingering in the cupboard. I highly recommend you make them. Pronto.

M&M Easter Cookies Recipe


2 1/4 cups plain flour, sifted

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1 cup sugar

100 g butter, at room temperature

2 eggs

1 x packet of M&M Easter Eggs



  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Place the butter and sugar into a medium bowl, and mix with electric beaters until smooth. Gradually add in the eggs, and mix.
  2. Add the vanilla essence, flour, bicarbonate of soda and cocoa. Mix with a wooden spoon, until it forms a soft dough. Add in the Easter Eggs, and mix until just combined.
  3. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls. Place onto a tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
