Halloween Tim Tam Cheesecake Balls

I know there are going to be people that roll their eyes and groan, “Oh my goodness, not Halloween stuff… we’re becoming so Americanised!” I know. I know. Valentine’s, Easter and Christmas is too commercial too.

But I’m rolling with it, because I love a celebration of any kind, and I am a big fan of fun… so Halloween, come at me.

We do Halloween at our house. We live in a small neighbourhood, so kids come knocking and I hand over chocolate and get happy that it’s out of my house.

To celebrate, I also made these guys. You know me, I like recipes that have very few ingredients, require very little work and taste delicious. These tick all those boxes. They’re just very a simple Tim Tam Cheesecake Balls Recipe, with some eyes thrown on to make them a little bit spooky. Or cute. You pick.

INGREDIENTS
250g Tim Tams
250g Cream Cheese
300g milk chocolate, melted

METHOD
♥ Blitz the Tim Tams in a food processor. If you’re playing along with a Thermomix, I blitzed them for 10 seconds on Speed 5.
♥ Add the cream cheese and blitz again until well combined. Roll into tablespoon size balls, and then freeze for around 30 minutes.
♥ Once chilled, dip into the melted chocolate and place onto a sheet of baking paper to set. While still wet, add decorative eyes {which you can pick up from a baking store} or sprinkle some fancy sprinkles on top.
♥ Eat and enjoy!

What are your thoughts on Halloween? Will you be handing out the sugary stuff, or pretending you’re not home?
