Yum Yum!! Thanks for the recommendations Chantelle. Cakes are super easy to make in the Thermomix. Sometimes it’s difficult to decide which recipe to try. This is a great starting list for all of my customers. I will send it on to them to have a read.
Thanks Sia! 🙂
Oh thank you so much! I absolutely love your Thermomix choccy cake – it’s always a winner here. And yep, I’m totally with you… my Thermie is pretty much just a cake making machine too!!!
Thanks for being such an awesome cake-maker!
Mmmm yum!!! I make the orange cake into cupcakes for my boys lunches- I love that it is so quick and easy!! It works really well with 1/4 of the sugar and wholemeal flour too 🙂
Oh good! I love less sugar!
I have wanted to make that sour-cream and lemon cake in forever. I really shouldn’t wait for an excuse.
Do it Karin! And promptly send me a slice. 😛
Thank you school holiday baking is now sorted!!
Enjoy! Bake on!
I’m a bit confused about the Thermomix as a ‘cake making machine’ – the recipes seems to indicate that it is used in the same was as a kitchenaid/mixmaster is in these recipes. In which case it’s not really making the cake for you or doing anything different to the standard way a cake is made… right? Or am I missing something here?
I thought the same when I first got my Thermomix: “Won’t it cook the cake too!”
It’s much like a Kitchenaid when it comes to cakes, but it actually weighs the ingredients unlike a Kitchenaid – so the recipes are changed to suit that. 🙂
I have made that apple tea cake and I can testify that it is freaking delicious!
