I’ve gathered the best Tweed Coast airbnbs for you to browse through, some I’ve stayed at, and some that are on my wishlist for a little staycation. I hope that you find a perfect spot to create memories with those you love.

11 of the coolest Tweed Coast Airbnbs

1. The Cabana, Casuarina

Ideal for a couple’s beach-y getaway, this cute Cabana is superstylish, and located just 100m from the beach. Every time I’ve visited The Cabana (which is a few, I’ve used it for photoshoots) I’m always in awe of the way Susie has so beautifully, and considerately styled the space in beautiful tones of pink and peach. Location-wise, you’re a quick walk to the best Asian on the Tweed, Spice Den, or you can take a leisurely stroll to Salt Village and browse any of the shops there. Alternatively Susie can arrange goodies for a romantic picnic on the beach, with boho-style blankets and umbrellas.

2. Yo Caba Caba, Cabarita

Cute name, right? Owner Gemma has great style, and this is reflected in each and every room of the house. Cabarita is beautiful coastal spot, with great surf spots in summer, and grassy hills for whale watching (and kite flying) in winter. With room for 10 guests, and 2 bathrooms, it’s the perfect spot to book for two families to share, or a gaggle of girlfriends for a weekend on the Tweed Coast.

3. Pipis Villa 2, Cabarita

With delicious neutral tones, and stunning fixtures, Pipis Villa 2 is a dream spot for a weekend getaway. There are two villas, each with two bedrooms, so you could book the entire space with another family, yet still have space to retreat. Within walking distance of cafes and the beach, it’s located in an ideal spot for easy strolls with kids during your stay.

4. Caba Sòl, Bogangar

If you’re looking a pet-friendly coastal getaway, this may be the place you’ll temporarily call home for your stay. With 3 beds and 1 bath, and being nearby to supermarkets, cafes, and the beach, this beautifully renovated home is an ideal beachy retreat for all ages.

5. Caba Cottage, Bogangar

Plunge pool? Check! Air-con? Check! Flat walk to the beach? Check! Pet-friendly? Check! Caba cottage ticks all the boxes, in the most stylish way possible. With room for a small family, and their furry friends, Caba Cottage will make for a great base on your Tweed getaway.

6. The Beach Flat, Kingscliff

If you want to be located right in it, in one of my favourite parts of the coast, The Beach Flat is the place to be. With a quick 100m stroll to the beach, and a short walk to restaurants, you won’t even need to bother with a car.

7. Hastings by the Sea, Hastings Point

Hastings Point is a sleepier part of the Tweed Coast, where you’ll be able to totally unwind and relax. With a beautiful creek to dip in, and a lookout to explore, it’s a beautiful, slow-paced location. You’ll be just a quick drive to Pottsville and even Byron Bay, if you want to explore a little more.

8. The Old Dairy, Cudgera Creek

We stayed in this beautiful farm stay and loved our time here. A five minute drive to the beach, it feels like it’s worlds away. Light the fire, make friends with the animals, and have great time living a little free-range. The Old Dairy is one big open space, except for the bathroom, so think fun communal sleeping, lots of laughs, and we even had a little hamper left for us to enjoy during our stay.

9. Heartwood Cabin, Burringbar

Immerse yourself completely in nature during your stay at the Heartwood Cabin, an architecturally-designed home with gorgeous views of the Burringbar ranges. Located on an 100 acre property, this eco-friendly cabin feels like a modern tree house. Burringbar is a cute town in Tweed, and just a drive to the beach if you want to put your feet in the sand.

10. Escape to the Hideaway, Environ

Experience a tiny home on the Tweed Coast with this sweet accommodation. With room for 2 guests, it’s the perfect spot for couples, or a single getaway. Add in the firepit, and a outdoor swing, you’ll be able to truly relax in nature and wind down from everyday streses.

11. Viva la Vida, Nunderi

One of the more indulgent options for accommodation in the Tweed, this spot is perfect for Instagram moments, and also for sharing with friends (a girly getaway perhaps) and for taking in all the designer touches. Located in Nunderi, this holiday home is a more hinterland-style getaway, with an easy drive to the beach or nearby Murwillumbah.
