Tim Tam Cheesecake Balls

timtamballs

There’s something about Tim Tams that brings people together and gets them excited. To be brutally honest, I didn’t really like those suckers until recently… but now I’m kinda enjoying them {HIPS SAY NO}.

This is a super easy recipe, and one that the kids can help with. I just threw everything into my Thermomix, blended the bejeezus out of it and then rolled into balls. Box them up, tie them with a Christmasy bow and you’ve got yourself a very nice gift on your hands.

INGREDIENTS

250 gms Tim Tams {one and a bit packets}
250 gms cream cheese
300 gms milk chocolate

METHOD

♥ Blend the Tim Tams until fine, and add the cream cheese and blend until combined.
♥ Roll them into bite size balls, and then place into the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
♥ Melt the milk chocolate {in the microwave is fine} and then roll the cold balls in the chocolate until coated.
♥ You can get creative and sprinkle coconut, Christmas-y sprinkles or even drizzle with white chocolate.

Enjoy!

And if you don’t have Tim Tams where you are, experiment with other sweet biscuits.

  1. I love that you need 1 and a bit packets so you’re kind of forced to eat the rest of that second packet (before anyone else gets home to see the recipe didn’t call for two packets :P)
