Brought to you by Steggles.Hello!
Today I want to share one of the easiest DIYs that you can probably do, and one that everyone can get involved in… even toddlers, kids, teens and/or parents. It’s a great one for families to get together and do on a lazy indoor day.
Family time is one of the most important things in life to me. Scratch that. It IS the most important thing in life. We’re all super busy, so it doesn’t have to take hours. It can be as easy as getting together and doing this 30 minute activity. My kids loved this one, and I hope yours do too.
Before I get to the how… let me talk to you about some more good stuff. I’ve been working with the beautiful team at Steggles for almost a year now, and they’ve been so generous. They’re giving away 100 movie tickets to families all around Australia. I’ve got 10 movie tickets to give away to 10 winners. Head over to my Facebook page to enter, where you can enter in two ways; tell me how your family is spending quality time together this Winter, either via a comment {25 words or less} or with a photo you’ve taken. Pop over and enter, and then come back and get the down-low on this DIY.
You’ll need: Air Dry Clay, paint {acrylic}, and paintbrushes. Also handy is a cookie cutter, rolling pin, a bowl of water and a small bowl to shape your bowls around.
To make: Roll smaller portions of the clay until around 1/2cm flat. Cut into circles, and then shape into a bowl shape. I used the bottom of a tub of moisturiser to shape mind around. You can do the same, or shape it using the inside of a small bowl. You can dip your finger in the water to smooth out any cracks or creases as necessary. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours before painting. Once dry, paint away.
And while you’re all busy creating and having fun, here’s a little recipe that you can make and having baking away. It’s a beautiful way to use up leftover chicken. It’s also the ultimate comfort food during winter. It’s so yummy!

What a great easy activity, I’ll have to make these with the boys this week. I’m also loving the pasta bake – it contains three of my kids favourite food too!
It’s truly comfort food!
