I love a good chicken soup, and trust me, there can be some bad ones. My favourite chicken soup is this one which I adapted for the Slow Cooker.
Well, that was until I met this one. I put off cooking this chicken soup for a while, because it seemed too complicated with it’s almonds and it’s brown rice. Silly me. It’s easy, and it’s hearty and it feels like you’re doing a yoga class AND a self-development session while eating. It’s THAT good for you.

Oh, I’ll try this one next. If you like chicken and sweet corn soup , it takes 15 minutes to make in the mighty TM… We love it !

I love this soup too! I go the option of adding extra chicken & steaming more veg & pouring the soup over. Perfect winter fare đŸ™‚

I’m confused – is it 50g rice or 150?? Recipe says 50g at the top and then 100g at the bottom?

Hi Chantelle, you need to make more of Jo’s recipes please! I’ve had her book now for a few months and I am yet to make ANYTHING from it. I’ve just realized i’d ‘rather not’ cook from recipes without a finished photo. Weird I know! I’m a bit of a SkinnyMixers snob too…….ssshh
