Spot the Difference.

Lacey won’t eat anything that we spoon to her ourselves. She wants to feed herself. She wants to be the boss of her dining experiences. I’ve been trying to come up with as many finger foods as I could. Today we decided to let her try and feed herself. Here is what resulted:

She’s a cheeky little monkey. x

  1. haha, so cute.
oliver goes through stages of wanting to feed himself and then sometimes he wants mummy to do it so he can get it in quicker!

  2. very cute photo.

I had one of those refuse to eat if she couldn’t feed herself children. She ate an awful lot of steamed veg for an awfully long time. Toast fingers were a hit, as were bowls of grated carrot and cheese and slices of fruit (soft or not she didn’t care so long as she could do it herself!)

  3. Great pictures. Kids are the best. I do enjoy zucchini, until you realize that you and the neighbor both planted too much, and by the end of August you are sneaking sacks of zucchini and leaving them on the neighbor’s doorsteps because you are sick of the stuff.

Slice them lengthwise, about 1/4 inch thick, lightly brush with olive oil, season with lemon pepper and grill.

  4. Oh my I have all of this to look forward to. She looks very proud of herself!

Can I ask, do you feed her in the kitchen? I am just wondering as I am a bit of a neat freak and can see me mopping the floor every five minutes!

  5. I’ll tell you the difference – I can guarantee you I won’t have nightmares about Lacey covered in spag bol…..the oompa loompa however……*shiver*
