If you’re heading to Bali and looking for a villa that ticks all the boxes – location, comfort, space, and a touch of luxury – Villa Puri Pani in Seminyak is one to bookmark.
We stayed here at the start of our trip, and while it was perfect for a girls getaway, I couldn’t help but think how great it would be for a family trip too.
🛏 The villa
This private villa has two large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and a huge open-plan living space with a full kitchen. There’s plenty of room to spread out – whether that’s kids playing, parents relaxing, or everyone splashing in the pool.
The setup is ideal for:
- a small group of friends
- two couples
- a family with 1-3 kids
📍 The location
I’ve stayed in Seminyak a lot, and I’ve always loved where we’ve picked – but this! This was right where you want to be. It’s right near all the best cafes and restaurants, and just a walk to the beach as well.
Nearby (just a few minutes walk) you’ll find:

- Baked Cafe
- Seminyak Square
- Bossman
- Grilled Burgers
- Mexicola
- So many more!
💸 Cost and booking
We booked last minute (on Booking.com) and paid $765 for 3 nights – but with a little more planning, you could definitely snap up a better price. Still, for the location and quality, it felt totally worth it.
🌴 What makes it family-friendly?
- The location is unbeatable. It’s just steps to cafes (like Sisterfields and Baked) – easy breakfasts without needing to cook. And only a short walk to Seminyak Beach for sunsets.
- The pool is warm, sunny and massive. Perfect for little swimmers – and big ones too. If you have little kids, you can always get pool fencing put up.
- Spacious and safe. The villa is tucked down a private laneway, away from traffic, and the open-plan design means kids can play while adults relax nearby.
- Convenient extras. There’s a mini-mart (two actually!) at the end of the laneway for snacks, drinks, and emergency ice creams. And the villa includes handy touches like shampoo, conditioner, bottled water for teeth brushing, and a coffee machine with pods (just bring your own milk!).

👎 The downside?
Honestly? Nothing to report. We absolutely loved it and I’d go back in a heartbeat – with girlfriends or with the family.
