One of those is a lie.

So it’s been a while.

No, I haven’t been at fat camp melting the kilos away.

No, I haven’t been eating myself into obliviation.

Yes, I have been pretty much at a standstill with my weight.

A few weeks back I got a bit over it all. Despite trying hard for a while my weight still remained the same. It’s frustrating because back when I was a teen and in my early twenties the weight would fall off with a bit of effort. Now, it’s a little harder to get rid of.

So I dragged my rather sorry oversized butt off to the doctor and got a referral to see a dietician and get some bloods taken.

So Saturday morning it all starts. The doctor sent me to the dietician who helped Maggie Tabberer lose all her weight. All I know is that she used to be on all the covers of my Mum’s magazines and had that super, dooper sleek hair. In fact I think she still has it.

Yes. She does.

Hopefully this leads me in the right direction. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow what’s in store for me and my tummy, and body too.

One of the kids said to me today. You’re so pretty and so skinny. She then paused. Looked at me and then said. Well, one of those is a lie. I just laughed.

Kids say the truest things. x
