  1. High part? Getting to spend the good part of a day cooking – one of my favourite things. And then eating the spoils, Oxtail Lasagne, that night.

Low part? Starting my healthy eating program today when there’s still one piece of lasagne left in the fridge. Meh.

  2. Well – my weekend started off alright I guess – then my husband decided to come clean with me on some stuff and that put a scratch in my Nina Simone record/Personal Theme Music. But then I went to Church today and God brought me right back where I need to be – concentrating on him and praying for everyone……….even that little lady that decided to host a porno text messaging convo with my hub….God is still good.

  3. oh that so sounds like something I would do! Move it here move it there move it everywhere lol!! I get bored!

Well I had a weekend mostly with chores but got organised a little food-wise – made a huge amount of passata and made strawberry jam, bread and butter pickled cucumbers and some of NQN’s pickles too!

    I’m like ‘what weekend?’ lol

  4. High Point – going out to dinner (read: getting out of the house!)with my hubby, son & newborn for the first time in 10 weeks
Low Point – My 6 week old daughter cried for the duration of dinner, only silencing when I put her on my boob for a feed, which is when I ate my cold dinner!

  5. High: getting to see my daddy for his birthday, and not having to cook at all on Saturday

Low: Getting sick last night and am now unable to make the drive to work, so am having to do a report from home. Actually not sure if that is a low or not…the sick part is, but the home part is good LOL

  6. Thank you Chantelle, you always make me giggle. That is totally something I would do. I get an idea in my head and I want it done now and then change my mind. It happens mostly when pregnant and on bed rest 😛

Yay for Polaroid film, we have one too but the film is amazingly expensive so sad they stopped making it.

We had an absolutley blissful weekend {as I predicted} YAY so, so relaxing.

  7. The high point of my weekend was finally sitting down last night to a glass of red and a slab of double brie and fig paste! The low point: caring for a little man with a terrible flu 🙁

  8. Chantelle – I am exactly like you when it comes to doing this – I want things done yesterday and in a complete and perfect fashion might I add.
The low point would be spending the entire weekend doing an assignment for uni due today but the high point was booking flights to Europe last night for a 4 week holiday at the end of June 🙂
Hope you’re having a great Monday.

  9. hilarious! i do the same – take forever getting something done to just put it back how it was! had a great weekend – ducks, kayak, playground, sewing, drawing, mud. low point was it ending!

  10. That's just the kind of thing I would spend a whole weekend doing!

We both work Saturday's so our “weekend” is only Sunday 🙁 I dragged hubby around to some plant nurseries, trying to find a Coral Gum tree. Gave up trying, and settled for a different native. Went to Bunnings, drooled over their Flatpak kitchens, came home & spent the day doing laundry, cleaning & planting my new trees & strawberries. Sat out on the edge of our new garden with a can of beer & my DH talking about our plans for the house and our backyard.

    A perfect day 🙂

    xx
