I know there are going to be people that roll their eyes and groan, “Oh my goodness, not Halloween stuff… we’re becoming so Americanised!” I know. I know. Valentine’s, Easter and Christmas is too commercial too.
But I’m rolling with it, because I love a celebration of any kind, and I am a big fan of fun… so Halloween, come at me.
We do Halloween at our house. We live in a small neighbourhood, so kids come knocking and I hand over chocolate and get happy that it’s out of my house.
To celebrate, I also made these guys. You know me, I like recipes that have very few ingredients, require very little work and taste delicious. These tick all those boxes. They’re just very a simple Tim Tam Cheesecake Balls Recipe, with some eyes thrown on to make them a little bit spooky. Or cute. You pick.
Halloween Tim Tam Cheesecake Balls Recipe
INGREDIENTS
250g Tim Tams
250g Cream Cheese
300g milk chocolate, melted
METHOD
♥ Blitz the Tim Tams in a food processor. If you’re playing along with a Thermomix, I blitzed them for 10 seconds on Speed 5.
♥ Add the cream cheese and blitz again until well combined. Roll into tablespoon size balls, and then freeze for around 30 minutes.
♥ Once chilled, dip into the melted chocolate and place onto a sheet of baking paper to set. While still wet, add decorative eyes {which you can pick up from a baking store} or sprinkle some fancy sprinkles on top.
♥ Eat and enjoy!
What are your thoughts on Halloween? Will you be handing out the sugary stuff, or pretending you’re not home?
Brilliant my two of my favourite things Tim tams and cream cheese and soooo easy thanks!
So easy and yum!
So cute! Love the little edible eyes!
(and delish – this recipe is our go-to for all celebrations – the best!!)
Happy Halloweening xx
What are Tim tams?
They’re a biscuit/cookie, coated in chocolate with a ganache-type filling. You can use any biscuit for this recipe though. đŸ™‚
Oh my goodness! YUM!!!
