No Bake Christmas Slice Recipe

No Bake Christmas Slice Recipe

Hello you.

Are you getting excited about all the delicious food that’s going to be around this Christmas? Oh, that’s just me. Oh yes, obsessed with food. It’s me.

The recipe I’m sharing today is so super easy that you can make it without even switching the oven on {yay!} and it makes for some really gorgeous gifts. If you want to make more, simply make the base thinner by using a bigger tray and increasing the white chocolate.

INGREDIENTS
2 x 250g Arno Shortbread Biscuits
180g butter, melted
400g white chocolate, melted
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
10 small candy candes, crushed

METHOD
♥ Blitz the biscuits in a food processor until they’ve formed a fine crumb. Add the butter and pulse until combined. Press the mixture into a lined slice tray {around 20cm by 30cm}. Use the back of a spoon to press it down and smooth it out. Place in the fridge for half an hour.
♥ Place the chocolate and vegetable oil in a bowl and mix to combine. Pour over the chilled biscuit base, and then sprinkle with the crushed candy canes. Chill for another hour or so, until firm. Cut into bars to serve.

  1. thanks for this, love candy canes. Am making microwave milk choc fudge over the weekend and next week is gingerbread baking. This looks a doddle to make.
