Win 1 of 3 Bellabox Subscriptions

Brought to you by Bellabox.

If there’s two things I love in life it’s mail and beauty stuff, so when Bellabox got in touch and asked if I’d like to collaborate on a Bellabox I jumped at the chance… like literally I jumped, and then I lay down… because, exercise.

I love potions and lotions and things that make me feel good, but I can’t do a winged eye-liner to save my life. In fact I am hopeless at painting my nails, I’m not sure I wear the right shade of foundation {when I went to the States I actually and accidentally bought concealer that was meant for African American skin} and I STILL don’t know what the BB in BB cream stands for. So, I said to them that I’d love a box filled with goodies that were a little bit fancy, a little bit lush {yes, I used the word LUSH. So 1993!} and contain products that would make me feel good, and look better. Nothing complicated, thank you very much, and everything USEFUL.

So, this is what happened when the box arrived on my doorstep…

bellabox

I guess I should get ahead of myself and assume that you know what Bellabox is, so let quickly describe it. It’s a beauty box subscription service. You sign-up and each month you get a box of beauty minis to try out, use and fall in love with. Each month you never know what you’re going to get; It’s a MYSTERY. It’s good for those people {like me!} who are time-poor and don’t want to spend for ever researching and just want to get down to the business end and TRY the products, those who like to try before they buy, and people who like getting nice things in the mail. You know you do.

This is what was inside my box:

bellabox-contents

ONE: Nip + Fab Glycolic Pads Mini Pack
When I first started getting facials when I lived in Sydney, my beautician told me {in her thick Russian accent} to get into the Glycolic, darling! So I did back then, and then ripped into these and tried them as well. Glycolic Acid, from what I understand, exfoliates your skin with the active ingredient {glycolic!} and makes it look alive which is what you want after a cold, miserable winter. Apparently Kylie Jenner is all over this particular product, and if it’s good enough for those Kardashians… well then I guess my skin approves of it too.

TWO: Max Factor Master Piece Max Mascara
Yes, delicious full size mascara because if you’re still using one from two years ago {yes, I’m looking at you!}, you’re in trouble. The wand on this one has a nice angle that makes applying it easy, and unclumpy {so a word!}.

THREE: Nuxe Rêve de Miel Face Cream
I don’t know what that means in French, because I studied German in school instead {Guten Tag!} but I know that it’s face cream. I’ve used it for past few days, I can tell you I’m a fan though. It’s light {not a fan of heavy creams, except at night} and it smells subtle but beautiful. I’ve definitely fallen a little bit hard for this one. Also, it’s 90% natural which pretty much sealed the deal. We’re getting married next week.

FOUR: Skin and Co Truffle Therapy Serum
Truffles! Fancy, eh? So, I’m not one for reading the instructions on packaging {WHO HAS THE TIME?} so I just put this where I thought it would go, on my eye area {which by the way, my eyes loved and thanked me with flowers and chocolates. OK, I lie, but they did blink a lot and I take that as a thankyouverymuch lady}. And then, the Bellabox team kindly told me it’s meant for the neck and face. I’m pretending that I didn’t hear them and keeping it for my eyes. It’s really light and nourishing, and perfect for under the Nuxe Face Cream.

FIVE: OGX Healing + Vitamin E Shampoo & Conditioner
I can never have enough shampoo and conditioner, so this was a welcome surprise to find in my Bellabox. It strengthens the hair {which I need after my disaster haircut, sob} and I’m hoping it contains some kinda magic that helps my hair grow super, dooper fast. They’re also good for packing in my bag for the ProBlogger conference this week, unlike the massive pump packs I’ve been known to take with us on trips.

Before this week I was a Bellabox virgin. And now my cherry is popped. I loved getting mail that wasn’t bills {woop!} and I loved being able to try the products without having to outlay lotsa money and then realising I didn’t love it {which I’ve done in the past}. I’ve used everything in box and will continue to do so… and I’m now subscribing as well. HOOKED, I tell you.

As I said above, usually the contents of the monthly Bellabox are a mystery, but for the month of August you can choose what you want. If you’d like to opt-in for the same box that I received, you can, simply subscribe here and stalk your mailman.

I’ve also got three annual Bellabox subscriptions up for grabs. If you’d like to be in the running to nab one, simply leave a comment below answering this question: What’s your biggest beauty challenge? {i.e. Time poor? Don’t know how to choose the right products? Share!}.

Competition open until midnight August 31st, and is open to Australian residents only. One entry per person.

  1. My biggest beauty challenge is not knowing what products work best for my skin type. I normally take recommendations from friends and beauty blogs, and just try them out.

  2. I think my biggest beauty challenge is not having the knowledge (theoretically or practically) to either choose the correct products or how to apply them. If I had to describe my beauty routine in two words – slap and go. PS That truffle therapy, man, that sounds good enough to eat! Just sayin’! x

  3. I’m in a rut! Same products every time – natural eyeshadow, etc. Never anything ‘lush’ or anything that isn’t on my little short list!
I need a Bellabox subscription to give me a push to go outside my comfort zone plus add some luxury!

  4. I just am never for sure I am using the right products for my skin type, not even really sure what skin type I am except I know I’m not oily. Also, don’t know where to put highlighter and concealed, do I put conceal inside my wrinkles?/??

  5. I’m a time poor mummy of three, including a newborn. I would love a bellabox subscription as a little spoiling and some “me” time.

  6. My husband is undergoing chemo and I’m constantly at the hospital in that cold, dry air. Couple that with being Mum and half of Dad to our three kids and still working full time and my poor skin is a disaster zone! My biggest challenge is two fold, my skin is dry from constant air con and I don’t have time to do anything about it. Some Bellabox treats would be a god send!

  7. My current beauty challenge is a change in circumstance and an out of date beauty cupboard. Since my son was born almost 3 years ago I’ve worn very little makeup and all my products are now very old! My skin and tastes have changed (read: I’m older, have less time and more wrinkles!) and I am ready to start fresh and try some new products but I have no idea where to start! The Bella box might help me try some new products without having to go to the shops or spend hours on the Internet (plus the exciting of fun mail!)

  8. Oh my goodness this is so freaking awesome!!!! I just love all the ‘lush’ products, great choices! I’m clueless when it comes to contouring, you’d think with a round face like mine I shoulda learnt a trick or two but it freaks me out.

  9. I feel like my biggest beauty challenge is I take a while to get ready. I have tried practicing to get better at the steps and make things faster for when I am getting ready. And don’t worry, I feel you on the winged eyeliner! And when you get one eye perfect, the other looks like a wobbly mess! Try watching some YouTube beauty tutorials, there are a lot of amazing guru’s such as Kandee Johnson, Shaanxo, Michelle Phan and Jaclyn Hill.

  10. Too many products! I get confused and don’t know where to invest my money! I think that’s where Bellabox comes in…..you can try the products at an affordable price and if you love the product then you can invest in it!

  11. My biggest challenge is just remembering to take care of myself. By the time I sort everyone else in the family out I seem to forget about myself but I am going to try and change that!

  12. My 3.5 year old has some issues with the moles on my face…hah! I learnt this from a drawing that came home from pre school…but seriously…dry skin/finding something with sun protection that doesn’t feel like a mask.

  13. When it comes to make and up skin care, pretty much all of it. I don’t know much about it really. I just have the usual makeup look I use everyday. I would love to branch out and try some different looks. Must get YouTube-ing!

  14. Can I say everything? I am absolutely hopeless ?
There are far too many products on the market these days, I have no idea what to choose, and half of the time I probably don’t even know what to do with them ? I guess this is where bellabox would come in handy because I wouldn’t have to try and pick out new products, they would just end up on my doorstep! haha
Regarding makeup, I know nothing.. I can roughly slap some foundation and mascara on and very roughly fill in my eyebrows but that’s about as far as I can go. I have tried fiddling around with bronzer, highlighter, blush, eyeshadow and eyeliner but usually end up jumping in the shower straight after to wash of my clown face ?
I don’t even know if my skin is oily, dry, sensitive or normal! Do I have light, medium or dark skin? Who knows!? Unfortunately not me ?

  15. The biggest beauty challenge is, well, everything! Its always hard to know what products will work for you & if they don’t thats money down the drain. As a University student those costs can add up… My solution is not to buy anything, which doesn’t always make you feel good. Also does anyone else, with glasses, struggle to apply things? So many products require attention & detail, but when you need to get your face “all up in the mirrors business” its a challenge.

  16. My biggest challenge at the moment is finding new products that suit my ageing skin – now that I am 42 my old favourites are not cutting it but I just don’t know what my new favourites should be. I have never tried a beauty box but I think maybe they are for me. A chance to trial new products without the huge initial outlay sounds perfect – because even if the products aren’t perfect I wont have spent a fortune finding out!

  17. It’s a mixture of being time poor and inability. Having a gorgeous inquisitive 15 month old, that loves to be in the bathroom during makeup time, is certainly tricky especially when trying a new trick seen on Instagram or Pinterest. I’m guessing she’ll be better than me when she is old. Haha

  18. Just can not find the right products for me ory skin, always seem to be so behind the trend when it comes to make up. Have boys also so no one cares if I wear make up or not. This would be perfect.

  19. As a Asian ageing woman , I do not know what is the best makeup for my age. Most beauty websites do not have much information about these ageing group of women. I do love reading information from magazines, beauty websites, but the truth is we are kind of invisible. it would be nice to know that I can have some information about ageing beauty.

  20. Oh man, I just cannot get that eyeliner to stay on my face exactly where I put it! And I use waterproof stuff and follow all the tips too! I end every night/day out looking like a sad panda! WHAT IS GOING ON?! SAD PANDA!!!!

  21. Since I’ve entered my 40’s – I’ve got no idea what my skin is doing! One month pimples, next month dry skin and then next oily!!!! And as for make-up – forget it! What worked in my 30’s is not working now! It’s just all too confusing!!!!!

  22. My biggest challenge! I have cupboards full of old, half empty bottles and tubes and I don’t know (or remember!!) what to use and when! So, I just default back to my ‘old faithful’ routine and products…the same routine and products that I have been using FOREVER…and hope for the best!!

  23. I’m clueless as to what products I should buy, which products will suit me and even how to use some of them! I’ve been sticking to the same products but my skin is getting older and maybe it’s time to change them. I’ve no idea where to start! I just want to look nice, so any help is appreciated!

  24. As a single mum of three kids, I don’t have a lot of cash to try new things, nor the time for complicated beauty routines, let alone time to research new products. Bella box sounds like it covers those challenges for me. 🙂

  25. Biggest beauty challenge? Having a baby, therefore losing all time and money I used to use to feel like my best self. He’s almost one, things get better, right? Maybe some little boxes in the mail will help me!

  26. My biggest challenge is being surrounded by boys (& I adore every one of them) and forgetting that I’m a girl who can look after her skin & her hair as its just too easy to use the same thing, whether it actually works (or should be in the bin) x

  27. Um, I have kids and no idea plus sensitive skin and I tend to spend all the $ on the kids. There’s just too much out there and too much info – use this it’s all natural, don’t use this it’s toxic etc it gets confusing

  28. Ohhhhh, I would ? a Bellabox subscription. Like lots of the Mumma’s below I am surrounded by boys and am clueless on what suits my tired mummy skin/hair/face. Trying out new treats every month would be devine. Pick me pick me…pretty please. My biggest beauty challenge is trying to leave the house daily looking human. I’d love any help I can get.

  29. I cannot pick a lipstick that suits me! I cannot!! It is a curse! The only lipstick that I own that looks good is one that my sister in-law bought for me. I have expensive, cheap and somewhere in the middle examples currently strangling the space in my vanity – and making me both equally regretful of the money wasted and simultaneously furious that I can’t master this skill that other women just get. Sigh.

  30. I used to be a bellabox subscriber but had to reevaluate my outgoings after being off work for too long due to illness and other personal issues. Was such a hard decision as the goodness me box went too ?
My biggest beauty challenges are not being very good at doing my own make up, my dry skin and also not being able to afford the luxury items I’d like to be using! ?

  31. How have I never heard of these boxes? My biggest beauty challenge is my skin. I have lupus and have an ugly mask of dark skin on both cheeks. It’s so hard to cover up and very discouraging. I’m always looking for something to help.

  32. Cat eyes will always be the death of me! Spending hours trying to get the perfect flick and when it is eventually right the other side is angled wrong! Ahh!

  33. My biggest beauty challenge is sleep deprivation! While I love stealing midnight cuddles with my sneaky 4 year old, or hearing her sweet ‘good morning mummy’ whispered at the crack of dawn, the subsequent dark circles, dull skin and yawn-induced wrinkles are a harsh price to pay. Beauty sleep is real – and I need it – but for now I’ll just have to fake it ’til I make it!

  34. Actually getting time to brush my hair and pluck my eyebrows so I don’t look like Harry from Harry and the hendersons lol.and the lack of sleep dear god the lack of sleep

  35. I’m useless I also did the whole, is it for my eyes or face? I have sensitive skin and I am time poor too and also slightly lazy. Let’s face it. I’m super lazy. Especially when it comes to trying new products. But as a mum of four I don’t have the funds to waste on $100 facial products to find out I’m allergic or its just a bit poo and not all hyped up to be. also who doesn’t love mail that’s not bills or for the kids? It’s a little bit of heaven you don’t have to share with anyone else.

  36. I’m having the problem that my skin is changing. I think its the mix of moving from Sydney to Melbourne (slightly different weather) and the fact i’m getting older (30 next year). I love the idea that I could try a few different things and see what works. Same with hair, my hair gets used to the things when I use them too often so I have to switch things up.

  37. I’m not a ‘girly girl’. Except i love make up i just never buy it because i never know how to put it on. That why I love bellabox because i get to sample thing figure out how it works on my own and fail if need be, but continue to try each month and my subscriptions about to run out ??

  38. As a single parent with a full time job my biggest challenge is time!! We Mum’s know that the first thing to get scratched of the to do list are the things we do for ourselves… like keeping up with a skin care routine or straightening our hair before work. I look at my hair straightener every morning and my face mask every night …. and rarely get to use them!!

  39. A few months ago I visited a new hair salon. I’ve been gradually getting more and more greys but I was at one with them and them with me! However, my new stylist waved his hands in the
air at the sight of them announcing to the world, “Oh Darling, you’re too young for those signs of wisdom!” and convinced me to colour my hair.

I HATE IT! It’s the wrong colour (although it has lightened – thank God), it feels dry and when I wake up in the morning every strand is separated from the other and they’re all sticking up and out in all directions, like I’ve been electrocuted during my sleep! I’m even too scared to use the hair dryer in case I make it even more brittle. I’m thinking of finding a new use for my hair
dryer to cheer myself up by sitting in my parked car and pointing the hairdryer at passing cars to see if they slow down!! Ha, ha!

  40. I have to sneak about and hide in the bathroom if I ever want to put make up on. My 3 year old stalker/daughter loves the stuff, otherwise I end up fighting her off trying to get into my make up case which I am now scared to open as her hands are the perfect size to go for a quick grab, before running away with her loot…….lol

  41. Just went back to work after baby and find it really difficult to get out the door looking respectable, let alone nice! My biggest goal is having clean clothes and then I slap a BB cream and mascara on in the car. I can do better… I think

  42. I don’t know how to pick products that are good for my skin. Especially with foundation, I’ve spent $8-$59 on various foundations over the years to pick one that is right and not too heavy for my skin. It makes it a bit harder when you’ve get sensitive skin too. And for the life of me, I do not know how to pick the right shade of foundation. I always seem to get the ones that are a shade too light or a shade too dark.

  43. I struggle with what my skin and hair needs at different times of each month. Hormones are crazy things to understand and are affected by things like our environment, exercise, food, products we use… I’m forever trying new products for all sorts of problems like dryness, oiliness, problem skin and now ageing! It never ends 🙂

  44. Standing in the beauty aisles freak me out! I have no idea where to start or what I’m looking at. I’d love to get into some sort of beauty routine but need some major guidence.

  45. I always find that I never have the time to complete a proper “beauty regime”. I tend to wash my face with soap and water while I am in the shower. It saves me some time that way. The only thing I seem to get right is that I never forget to apply facial sunscreen. I am turning 30 this year but still get asked for an ID whenever I go out to pubs – 80% of the time. Not always a bad thing, but it gets frustrating. Which takes me to my next beauty gripe. I need to find products that won’t necessarily “age” me, but rather accentuate my features so I don’t look like a 16 year old :).

  46. My biggest challenge is finding a product that doesn’t cost me a fortune but gives me the ‘fresh’ feeling that I want. Too many times I’ve bought products on recommendations and have thrown them out after using them for a week due to not being good. Bella Box would be a perfect ‘try before you buy’ 🙂

  47. My biggest beauty challenge is my kids. Ever since I had children, my hair and skin have changed (for the worse). I now get more pimples in one month than I had in my entire teenage years. And kids being the wonderful time vampires they are, I don’t seem to get more than a few minutes of maintenance time a day, and that is called a shower. I love them to death but add in the worry and laugh lines they cause, my ‘beauty regime’ doesn’t stand a chance.

  48. I always feel a little ashamed that at just about 33, my make up routine never evolved past tinted moisturiser, mascara & lip balm, my hair lives in a permanent pony tail and skincare is bare basics. I’m starting to wonder at what age my ‘minimalist’ routine will fail me but have no idea how to use anything else!

  49. I am such a noob with makeup and have fears of going to a makeup shop and asking for advice and then BUYING EVERYTHING (cos I can’t say no to sales people)! So the bellabox would help me so much as I am currently looking for a job so need to look in tip top shape for job interviews!

    Thanks!

  50. I suspect I have so many beauty problems, I don’t know which is my biggest!
I’m the sort of person who firmly believes that leggings are perfectly fine to wear as pants.
Clearly, I’m just a bit lazy. And I like comfortable things.
But I do like to try something new, especially if someone else chooses it for me. It might just be the comfortable I was looking for!

  51. My biggest beauty challenge is being motivated. I’m just over into the 40’s have a husband, 2 young adult & 1 teenage daughters, 2 dogs, work full time, do a bit of community volunteering and have to say looking after my skin and presenting myself the ‘best way possible’ is just not a motivation for me. Every now and then I ‘put in a bit of effort’ and cleanse and tone with those products that have gotten pushed to the back of the bathroom cabinet and do my make up (with that 2 year old mascara) but it lasts about 2 days and I’m back to washing my face with a face washer, slapping on a bit of moisturizer from the pump pack and getting on with it. I’d love to find that motivation and get a bit excited about beauty products and do a bit of caring for me.

  52. To be honest, not knowing how to beautify! Also a bit time poor. Being a first time mum, still working out the kinks of balancing ‘me’ time with sleep time with eat time with getting everything I can done in the 20 mins she’s napping for. She’s seven months old. I’m a bit slow in getting it together. And when I think I finally do, she decides to go and change up her routine. Just for fun. *insert tired laughing, yawning emoji* 🙂

  53. My biggest beauty challenge is not knowing what to use in what areas. And getting the right blend of makeup for my skin type.

  54. As a new mum I am finding it difficult to keep up with a beauty routine and time to suss out new products! Would love the convenience of a box delivered each month with new shiny products to use!

  55. My greatest challenge is that I’m am in the my 30’s and have no idea about makeup, or such. And I have three daughters who are into dress ups and make up, and I feel lost as to how to mentor them in getting it right, and that really hurts my mothering soul.

    • I hear you and feel you! My daughter is always asking me to do her nails or try some make-up on her, and I have NO IDEA what to do! She does a better job with her nails using her non-dominant hand than I do using my dominant one!

      • Yes! Mine are the same!!!
And it’s not so much about whether make up is required but how to look after ourselves, skin care, hair care, how a facial can improve our mood etc. But honestly I want them to come to me to ask and I want the knowledge and skills to show them, it’s something I didn’t get from my mum or grandma’s, but something I want to change and pass onto my girls

    • I feel the same! Lacey is actually better at make-up than me, which is insane because she’s SEVEN!

Justine, congratulations – you’re a winner of this competition. Hopefully you can upskill your make-up talents. x

      • Thank you Thank you Thank you!! Im so excited!!! Watch out girls mumma is going to know her stuff, well attempt to anyhow!!

  56. My biggest beauty challenge is shift work, working as a nurse! I yoyo work from earlys, lates to the dreaded night shift ( following in post night shift insomnia). This combination not only leaves me looking exhausted but feeling exhausted too, which means i quite often trade putting make up on for a extra 5 minutes in bed.

  57. My biggest beauty challenge is buying so many different products that just don’t work! Need an endless supply of money to test them all out!

  58. My greatest challenge is I can’t figure out eyeshadow! I don’t know where to start and everything I’ve tried just gets eaten up by my greedy greedy gumdrop eyelids. I feel like I spend ages popping stuff on my lids and then you can barely notice I’ve done anything. Oh golly, my eyeshadow sucking secret is out!

  59. My biggest challenge is trying to find the right product for me and i never have the funds to try new things which i why i loved getting my bellabox each month but unfortunately can’t afford to be getting it anymore. I found so many wonderful products. I miss getting it.

  60. My biggest beauty challenge is getting out of this ‘mummy rut’ I am stuck in. Gone are the days where I could primp and preen myself for hours on end, now days I am lucky if I get to brush my hair! My make up has all expired and with two little girls (3 and 2 years) to run around after I don’t have the time (or energy) to research what products I should be buying, let alone buy them. Hopefully the Bellabox can help me solve this problem and turn this tired mummy into one hot mumma!

  61. I’m stuck doing the same old thing with makeup as i am a bit clueless when trying new styles!!!

  62. My biggest challenge is I don’t know how to apply make up.With my red face that always looks sunburnt I try anything and everything to cover it up.I have a condition called Rosacea and my skin is very sensitive so its hard .With the Bella box I love it because I get to try different things

  63. My greatest challenge is lack of knowledge. When I was younger I didn’t really care for make up and steered clear for quite a while. Now I love to doll myself up but feel like I’m applying my clown face rather than something of beauty!! Help!

  64. Definately finding the time would be my challenge. When you have 2 little ones it’s hard to find some pamper time for myself. I am always rushing especially in the mornings for the school run. So maybe choosing the right products for me with my limited time would be my perfect match.

  65. My greatest challenge is time! Between trying to shovel food into the small persons mouth, making our lunches & sounding like a fish wife every.single.day I have no chance of getting anything on my face! Oh except for unkept eyebrows ?

  66. Bellabox sounds amazing, not only am I time poor with a 2.5 year old and a 3.5 year old, but money to try things out is non existent, therefore it doesn’t happen .I’d love to be able to feel like I’m doing something for myself, without the guilt! Please Chantelle and Bellabox
    X x

  67. My biggest challenge is whenever I walk into a store looking for a specific ingredient/product, I usually get so overwhelmed by everything I end up walking out with something completely different.

  68. My biggest challenge is definitely not knowing what to buy/use. My mum and older sisters are not into makeup or beauty products so I have no one to teach me. Being able to trial and error without spending a fortune is what I’m looking for from bella box.

  69. I’ve never been into makeup so haven’t learnt what to use, how to apply it without ending up looking like a hooker. Makeup is so much more advanced than when I was young and I want to use it but need advice and a routine that is easy to do.

  70. My greatest challenge is finding the perfect skincare products. Ive tried many but am yet to find something I love.

  71. My beauty challenge is how to navigate the myriad of beauty counters at major department stores. Everything looks glamorous and the promises of product effectiveness are extravagant. Its hard to know what really is suitable for me and what is just advertising hype. Bellabox seems like the perfect answer to my problem – the chance to try and trial products from the comfort and privacy of my home.

  72. My greatest challenge is wrestling with my two yo son every time I want to put anything near my face lol. “make up for mummy, make up for Alex…moisturiser for mummy…” you get the picture lol. He’d love trying everything every month as much as I would. 🙂 x

  73. My biggest beauty challenge is budget. I’m not bankrupt but I certainly can’t support my beauty and cosmetic cravings!!! It’s a total addiction.

  74. Have been eyeing out the contouring videos out there, but every time I’m about to buy a contour palette to give it a go I chicken out

  75. My biggest challenge has always been the nasty dark circles under my eyes, which appeared when I was in high school and have been the subject of many trips to many beauty departments over the last 15+ years. I am forever hunting for The One (ie the perfect concealer, illuminator, eye cream or a combination) that will disguise them. No luck so far, as my skin is too olive for the mainstream beauty brands and tends to eat up all my makeup. I need something pretty hardcore. It must be out there! Help!

  76. My biggest beauty challenge would have to be my battle to accept that as I am getting older my face and body are taking on a different beauty. After having children I have stretch marks, saggy tummy and the grey hair is starting to peek through, etc. But just like I used to look at my grandmother and think she was beautiful I have to believe that people are looking at me and seeing my beauty as well.

  77. Biggest beauty challenge is that I own so many different things and then find it hard to decide which ones to use!!

  78. Mine would have to be geting the right face scrub to get rid of my pimples and blemishes i can never get rid of them

  79. Would love to win a subscription! I have no idea what stuff suits my skin since giving birth… my skin and face changed so much afterwards (cheers, hormones!). I love experimenting so this would be awesomeee! x

  80. Finding great products with restricted price range and sensitive skin. I don’t have the time or even know where to begin when looking at products. Its overwhelming and gets to me. Every time I’ve bought something it’s not been right for me I do my research as well and all is to much. I am blemish prone and currently taking medication for it but i would love to find some non Colegenetic products that help my skin and help me feel more confident again.

  81. The dilemma of being in your 30’s – a time when you manage to have pimples AND wrinkles at the same time!!! This makes finding suitable skin care products both confusing and difficult (am I dry/oily/ageing???)… Help!

  82. My biggest beauty challenge is dealing with the aftermath of not enough sun safety when I was young. If only I knew then how hard it is to conceal pigmentation and sun spots, a tan just isn’t worth it! Slip, slop, slap all the way.

  83. I have no clue really about make up I feel as if I will look like a clown and chicken out and just put on a bit of lippy

  84. I am one of those girls who never wears makeup except when going out and people gasp and say things like “holy crap, you look so different!
(thanks to 20 years of practice and eyeshadow with pictures and directions for where what colours go!!)
Honestly I prefer to sleep for that extra time it takes to put makeup on, although having new products arrive to me would be a another step closer to me embracing the everyday beauty regime I really need to start because 40 is creeping closer and closer each day!

  85. I just don’t get it! There are too many options to choose from and I don’t have a clue where to start. At least with a Bella box, you get samples to try and you don’t have to fork out the big bucks on a product that might not suit you

  86. My biggest beauty challenge is finding the right combination of serums and creams that will most effectively treat the fine lines, puffiness and dark circles under my eyes. My ideal Holy Grail product would be a multi-tasking miracle cream that treats all three issues simultaneously!

    Di from Max The Unicorn

  87. My biggest beauty challenge would have to be my lifestyle right now! As a mum with little children (3 under 3 – argh!) I struggle to find the time to use or even shop for products to suit the new, older, me. Most of the beauty products I own are ones I bought while in high school.

  88. My greatest challenge is finding the courage to go to the beauty counters and ask for help. It is so intimidating, and as much as I would love to try the various products, I’m just too scared!

  89. My biggest beauty challenge is just plain laziness!! Oh, I can apply makeup fairly well without looking too much like a clown, but I get lazy. I’ve looked at websites and magazines that say, “A natural face in 5 minutes” and it takes me longer so I just do a true natural face that took no time at all.

  90. I am a full time carer to 4 boys with autism and for a long time we never went out anywhere. Now everyone is older we can go out more. Yeah for getting dressed up to go out places. But I’m just not sure how to apply make up to suit my older, rounder face. Or what makeup products should a, cough… forty something… cough, woman be using that don’t make those new lines stand out.

  91. My greatest challenge is I have no idea what product is right for my skin or what shade of foundation etc!

  92. My challenge is that I literally have absolutely no time for myself – my skin or my hair or my face or anything. Ever. I know that recieving these new products in the mail regularly would force me to create some!

  93. My biggest beauty challenge is wanting to try everything but not having the confidence, time or knowledge to give it a go!

  94. My biggest beauty challenge is keeping the kids out of my makeup drawer. Haha. Truly. But also I just do not have the time or budget to research/ try new products

  95. My biggest challenge is having the ‘curse of the 30’s’ – being blessed with both pimples and wrinkles. I’d love to win to try out a range of products and get a little treat every month!

  96. Remembering to take my make up off of a night. I go a few days then I get lazy. It’s a habit I certainly need to get on top of.

  97. My greatest challenge is that I have no clue how to apply make up properly! I would love to look more professional, including use of eye products such a eyeliner and eyeshadow, however I have no idea what I’m doing!

  98. Finding the right products for my skin and hair! I’m forever wasting money on products that don’t work or match.

  99. Getting my hair to stay looking good! I am only go able to straighten my hair (no fancy curls or waves or styles here). But even after I get it straight, it seems that five minutes after leaving the house, it has turned into a limp mess and kinda looks like that I just got out of bed and didnt comb my hair look (not at all the sexy bedhead look everyone else seems to be able to get happening!).

  100. My biggest beauty challenge is not knowing who, where to start when it comes to make up and beauty products. It seems as the years pass, my complexion seems to change weekly! What worked a few months ago, doesn’t now. Bella Box would be an awesome way to road test great products!

  101. I’m half blind in my left eye so I’m sure you can imagine trying to get any type of symmetrical looking eye make up done can be challenging, sometimes I’m just grateful I can get the product even close to looking like where it should! Lol. Thank goodness face creams and masks don’t require much skill!

  102. Lately my biggest problem has been that I’ve been on bed rest with my second pregnancy. (My first ended with my sleeping angel) firstly I haven’t been out of the house to find any new products, so products arriving by mail would be amazing and secondly, stress has definitely had its impact on my skin.
I also believe that when this beautiful newborn arrives, getting to the shops will once again be a struggle.

  103. My biggest beauty challenge….only one bathroom mirror and 3 teenage daughters…..this mum doesn’t stand a chance!!
But in all honesty my challenges are in being able to afford quality products and in knowing what products to use for my skin type….I don’t have a clue where to start and the wrinkles and dark circles are taking over while I try to figure it out!!
Once I get that sorted my next challenge will be hiding it all of my products from the girls!!

  104. Biggest challenge for me is that I have super sensitive skin and have trouble finding a product that does not set off the stinging or redness

  105. For me it is choosing the right products! Time is a key but knowing which products suit my skin and lifestyle is the biggest thing.

  106. My beauty challenges include remote country living, two babies and working our land. Our nearest shopping district is 45 minutes away so I don’t have the time to browse and do research, just have time for getting the essentials and that’s ok, but it would be nice to have a little luxury sometimes, try a few nice products and feel a little bit girly ?

  107. Im a busy mumma of three youngies, I like the idea of “pampering me time” & dolling up. But I honestly can say I cant justify spending money or time on myself! Let alone know how to use beauty products properly! Bellabox would be a welcome gift/treat in my house. Please & thankyou!

  108. my biggest beauty challenge is my sensitive skin. I don’t try new things because I don’t want to outlay big dollars for it to give me a rash. sample size items would be ideal to get me to try new fun things!!! Thanks for the article 🙂

  109. My greatest challenge is trying to entertain a toddler while doing my makeup. I do the basics – foundation, mascara, blush and lipgloss in my car usually after drop off.

  110. My biggest challenge is time…where does a working mother of 3, who does NOT “do” mornings find time to perfect her smokey eyes LOL

  111. My biggest challenge is finding products I like! The right foundation shade, makeup that actually lasts all day, the right skin cream! The list is endless! Being able to sample before I buy would be amazing! ?

  112. My biggest beauty challenge is a toss up between time management (I like to sleep in – don’t we all) and not being up to date with the trends, my simple look just doesn’t cut it sometimes and if you have new and awesome products it would be easier to update your look a little ?

  113. My biggest beauty challenge is my eyebrows. I over plucked as a teen and have no idea how to make them look lovely and full now! Maybe I need an eyebrow transplant?!

  114. My greatest challenge is knowing how to put makeup on so I don’t look like an 8yr old did it :/

  115. Biggest challenge? Covering pimples with the right shade.
Pimples? I hear you ask. Yes, but I swear, I’m not in my teens anymore!

  116. My biggest challenge is finding time to prioritise a proper beauty routine and take the time for makeup before leaving the house. Something quick and easy would be awesome

  117. I’m ready for a beauty challenge, the biggest problem I have is never having the time or the knowledge to know where to begin. ?
I have the worlds smallest makeup bag that contains the same few things I’ve had for years.
Maybe my first challenge would be to throw away the old things, buy a bigger makeup bag and start again ! ???

  118. My biggest challenge in the cosmetic and beauty department would be choosing products for my age group 50s and making the best of what I’ve got look better,I like parcels in the mail much more than bills too!

  119. Where to start…… Money, skills, knowledge, motivation.
It’s been 6 months since my last hair appointment – I’ve got some seriously nasty regrowth happening and have just bought some cheap scoopon so I can get my hair done for my birthday next month.
I haven’t worked in over a year now as I’ve not been well and it’s not getting better any time soon, so trying to comprehend spending money on beauty products when I’ve got money come in doesn’t work, so I’m on my discounted bb cream, and year old mascara and mega sale blush/bronzed and I splurged on a $20 eyeliner. It only gets used when I go out and feel like death – the feeling like death is most days, and the going out isn’t as often.
I don’t know what products I should be using and even if I did, I don’t know how to use them. I got to have pretty long lashes last year as a bridesmaid and I loved them, I decided to be brave and buy some….. For the life of me I can’t work out how to actually get them on my eyes haha.
I’ve got shocking skin that has lots of pigment discolouration and crazy dryness that I can’t sort out. Sometimes something seems to work to help it, but then it stops… Boo…

So like I said, where to start! Or end! Lol

  120. My greatest challenge is being time poor as a mum and never updating my products. I swear my blush brush has about three bristles left and I’m still working my way through the same eye liner I had when I was 15 (so maybe I can just use ‘loyalty’ as my excuse for forgetting to buy new things!!).

  121. Biggest challenge…hmmm…just one? Let’s see. Ok, I’m 37 and I don’t know what to do when it comes to skin care. A prime example is earlier today when I put sunscreen {I was inside all day} on my dry skin in absolute desperation because it was so dry and I had nothing else on hand because I just don’t know what to buy and don’t have the time or money to buy products to experiment with. I also have two little girls who are going to be looking to me soon for advice and wisdom on all things skin/makeup related. I might need to do a course ?!

  122. My biggest beauty challenge is, I can’t use make up!
I’ve never really learnt what to wear or how to apply it. I have mountains of unused makeup in my bathroom. I love beauty products and I love the idea of Bella box so this would be perfect for me because I can try little bits of lush products monthly.

  123. My greatest beauty challenge is finding a makeup look that is flawless yet natural looking. I hate the caked on face look! Something that is effortless and time efficient that I can do within the half hour I get up, shower, dress and before rushing off to teach at school with no breakfast! You don’t want to hide under makeup but to enhance your unique features you already have and above all feel pretty and confident!

  124. I like to read the info on makeup in magazines and watch the ads on TV but find it all a little overwhelming with what products to try and what is better for my mature skin.
I am very interested in the beauty connected with ageing, I would welcome the opportunity to use bellabox.

  125. Definitely time poor for me!!! As a busy mum and working full time, I’d love to find products that I can apply with ease, be something that will make me feel great and hide those bags under the eyes too. This prize would be an awesome surprise each month!!!

  126. My greatest beauty challenge is not knowing what products to use. I have dry skin but my skin reacts to moisturiser with those little white bumps! I want new skin!!

  127. my greatest challenge is now that i’m in my fifties, i’ve had to change the way i apply makeup and the colours i choose
    .

  128. My biggest challenge is being a stay home mum and not being able to afford the things I used too ? it’s all worth it I know as I get to be home with my son and currently 33 weeks pregnant with number 2, but when you have worked since you were 15 it’s hard not having the $ to buy or do as you please

  129. My greatest challenge is understanding what I’m supposed to use and how to use it. Every time I think I’m going to get on top of this and figure it out I get so overwhelmed by all the choices and whimp out again. Something like bellabox would introduce me to new things without freaking me out. Plus I love getting mail that isn’t bills!!!

  130. Doing a smoky eye, I either look panda-esque or get scared and go so light you can’t see the contrast! And don’t even ask about contouring….

  131. I am time poor between work and looking after my 9 month old son Peter, also I am using the same skin care products as 10 years ago – so may not be using the right products for my skin now that I am in my 30s.

  132. My biggest challenge would be time and money. Trying out new products is fun but oh so pricey! And spending time researching or reading up about new items just doesn’t happen when working long days, and also working from home at night. I would simply love this subscription! x

  133. My biggest beauty challenge is that I’m new to the world of beauty and there’s so much around that its way too confusing and intimidating. I like the idea of a mystery box coming to your doorstep each month, especially for a person like me, who’d much rather get something in her mail and try it and then pick it up from the store if I like it, with confidence, knowing that I like the product.

  135. My greatest challenge is that I’m so indecisive, I see the rows and rows of products, read the blurb about what they can do, then leave the shop dizzy and in a cold sweat as I can’t decide which product to buy. So the bellabox would be a welcome sight on my doorstep any day!!

  136. My biggest challenge is what’s going to be best for a woman that participates in a heavy contact sport like I do. Burn on my face from having it squished into the mat, or hair getting dried out from constant washing.
I love my sport, but I wish it was a little easier on my body!

  137. My greatest problems is I love products and buy, buy, buy… Lipstick are my happy place! I wish Priceline wasn’t near the grocery story, I afraid I have a problem ? I would love to learn more tricks and tips.

    C xxx

  138. My biggest beauty challenge is taking my makeup off before bed. Feels like, ‘ain’t nobody got time for thaaaat!’

  139. My biggest beauty challenge is patience. I just want to be done after 1 minute of makeup/hair-time. So finding things that are easy and take care of multiple steps in one is hard!!! (lol)

  140. Challenge? Wrinkles! Getting older with poor early life skin care. Hoping to improve so I age more gracefully. A hard task ahead…..

  141. My hair naturally curly dyed straw like texture that never does what I want it to even after smothering it in product. I never have enough time because usually my son is banging on the bathroom door so I can fix some disaster

  142. My biggest beauty problem is that I don’t know how to choose the right products. I end up buying so much stuff I don’t end up needing or using.

  143. My greatest beauty challenge is that I’ve just had my first baby at 39 and my skin has no idea what it’s doing!

  144. My challenge is finding the right shade of lipstick. Having full lips I used to shy away from drawing attention to my mouth but I’m slowly being OK with wearing brighter shades and embracing what I have.

  145. my greatest challenge is being short sighted and trying to put mascara and eye shadow one, it is tough!

  146. 26 mum of 2 high needs special needs children adn i own mascara LOL its the only thing i know how to use and braving the shops is an absolute disaster msot days..one child spinning in circles blowing snot out everywhere hitting punching threatting, the other headbutting the troley while pulling her hair out and sticking her fingres down her throat..and all to get a bottle of milk im not braving the other shops no sorry

  147. I’m not very knowledgeable with beauty products so I’ve committed to one brand all these years so far. I’m sure there are many fabulous products by other brands out there, I just need someone to point me in the right direction to discover them.

  148. I’m pretty clueless, timepoor and generally un-co with beauty anything! Having only just mastered how to blow dry my hair at (cough) 40 (cough), I need all the help I can get 😉

  149. My biggest beauty challenge would be juggling the baby and trying to put on my lippy! Seems to end up all over my face rather than on my lips! LOL!

  150. My challenge is simply where to start. I am in my 40s and have got away with a bit of moisturiser day and night, a BB cream and a swipe of mascara and lip gloss for the last 9 years since l had children and now when l go into a shop l am so overwhelmed by the products and choices available that l end up leaving with my head spinning and no purchases.

  151. My biggest challenge is time. Being a young mum running after two small children plus husband (third child), running 2 buiness and the house, there is no time left for me. No time to look for something nice for me.

  152. My biggest beauty challenge is that for the first time of my life I have pimples to contend with. I am nearly in my mid 30’s…what is with that?!

  153. My greatest beauty challenge is finding the right lipstick. I seriously have about 30 different ones and none of them are what I want. I’m forever on the hunt for the perfect lippy.

  154. My greatest challenge is I’m LAZY. When I take something from my vanity, I don’t put it back in the right place. Have to clean my brushes? Let’s do it tomorrow. Dramatic makeup? No thanks, too lazy, I’ll keep it simple to just eyeliner, concealer and lipbalm today!

  155. I am a new first time mum so being time poor is definitely my biggest beauty challenge at the moment. Hair and makeup have taken a massive back step just so I can leave the house at an appropriate time.

  156. My biggest beauty challenge is getting my make up off before bed…I’m guilty!!! I never take it off before bed but I know I should

  157. My biggest challenge is finding a foundation that blends….one that I don’t take one look at & wash straight off because I look like I’m wearing a mask.

  158. As a woman in her early 20’s you would think I would be a makeup aficionado, not true! My biggest beauty challenge is that I know nothing about makeup. Liquid or powder foundation? Matte or sheen? Bottom eyeliner, yea or nay? Completely clueless! The amount of products out there now is completely overwhelming and I love the idea of being sent carefully selected samples to trial before splurging on the full product 🙂

  159. Trying to erase/minimise my laugh lines (ie wrinkles!!). I can’t afford all the fancy smancy products, I would prefer to try and use natural products but they don’t really work and to tell you the truth, I’m a bit on the lazy side when it comes to beauty things. I don’t wash my face every night like I should and I’m a bit of a tinted moisturiser and mascara only girl – so to win this would be great – it would get me experimenting with new products and testing out things that I would not normally try – I’ve looked into Bellabox in the past but unfortunately I can’t justify the expense to get it delivered each week – as exciting as it would be to receive a parcel full of cool products – so fingers crossed.

  160. My biggest challenge is finding a foundation that covers scars and blemishes from acne but also doesn’t make me break out.

  161. Knowing what to put on when, where and how. There are so many products on the market I don’t know where to start, many products make claims to do wonderful things that I want to try them all but just do not know where to start

  162. My greatest beauty challenge is that I love to buy products without having any idea how to use them (I don’t read instructions either). I spent weeks raving to my mum who is a beauty and makeup guru, about this amazing matte lipstick pot that I’d discovered before she kindly told me that product didn’t exist and that I was using a cream blush incorrectly!! ??

  163. My challenge is Makeup. I don’t know how to use them. Where they go and how much to use. Especially how to do the winged eye liner or the natural look. So in other words I’m completely hopeless with make .

  164. Mine would have to be hiding those miserable dark circles I’ve acquired in my 9 years of parenting. Either my concealer is too sheer and i may as well not be wearing any, or it’s too thick and i get reverse panda eyes. Gah!

  165. My biggest beauty challenge is that I keep buying make up. I have a tendency to buy multiples of a product in irrational fear that they’ll somehow run out. Please ! Send help!

  166. Because I am time poor I tend to skip treatments that is no cleanse, tone and moisturise and no make up as I rush out the door for work.

  167. My main make up challenge is PICKING THE RIGHT COLOUR! I swear I’m in a weird daze when I’m buying makeup or choosing shades! I’m 100% convinced that the colour is right and looks good when I’m in the store or shopping online. But as soon as I get home… I HATE IT! ? I look at my collection now shaking my head at all the money I wasted. Asking myself WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING ?!…still struggling.

  168. My challenge is my hair! It’s super fine, kinda wavy, kinda straight, and it gets frizzy easily. And did I mention it’s SUPER fine?? 🙂

  169. Time poor!!
I work full time as a team leader, model on the side, teach catwalk, I own an espresso bar, I go to the gym everyday….and above all I’m a mum.!!
Makeup, beauty and sharing my tips and opinions on products is a massive part of my life… Winning this would be a dream!! Xx

  170. I am terrible with all things ‘female’. Never know which products to use and what colours. Would be nice to be able to try new things every month without having to aimlessly walk around looking at beauty products.

  171. My biggest challenge is consistency and finding time to do the right thing by my skin. My routine is more like “shower/get dressed/remember that I forgot to do skincare routine”

  172. My biggest beauty challenge is finding different products to suit melbournes weather! Just like the weather my skin has a ridiculous mind of its own so I need to constantly be prepared with oily, dry and combination products! The bellabox looks incredible and would be perfect for trying out new products when I don’t have enough time to spend hours in Myer swatching ???

  173. Gah – my biggest problem is jumping on bandwagons! I want so much have the same foofy voluminous hair that Delta Goodrem has, so I try every brand new tjoozing product out there, instead of researching and taking my time. Oh, and I use too much conditioner. Rookie error for fine hair, yet I still. keep. doing. it.

  174. My biggest beauty challenge is knowing what kind of products to use! For years I only used mineral powder and mascara, now I’ve gotten on to BB cream, but still, so far to go in the makeup world!!

  175. My biggest beauty challange is finding foundation pale enough for my skin. It’s so difficult especially in west aus. Everyone but me seems to be tanned or naturally olive toned. Meanwhile I go outside with shorts on and people get blinded.

Everytime I find one that’s ‘close enough’ the brand stops making it because no-one buys it. 🙁

  176. biggest challenge is always makeup. if I go beyond my fave mascara I end up looking like a really bad cross dresser or a clown

  177. My biggest challenge is that I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING! I have no idea what products to choose, what my skin type is or how to put on make up. My current beauty regime consists of trying to remember to put moisturiser on twice a day and wearing a foundation I think suits me… Anything more than that is too hard!

  178. I’m scared of “chemicals” in my beauty products, yet have an acute awareness that everything is made from chemicals! It makes me feel silly. I try to avoid parabens and fragrance, but I want products that actually work! Tricky stuff.

  179. Coverage!
It’s difficult to find light-weight products that I don’t need to use half the bottle just to fill in my large pores and cover my blemishes. Many products promise the world and deliver clogged pores.

  180. I never know which products to choose! I know ads embellish, I know some products are ridiculously overpriced, but I also know some really work! I also don’t have the time to wade through all that information to find the right thing for me and my budget. Trying new things that have been picked for me is just what I need! 🙂

  181. Foundation is my biggest beauty challenge. I can never seem to get it right. I also have very limited funds to spend on make-up so the Bella Box would be a big help in being able to try products before spending money on something that you may not be happy with.

  182. My biggest beauty challenge is hormonal acne.. I have maybe 1 week without pimples and the rest is 1 week pimples coming up due to my period coming then 1 week of them starting to clear. Would love to try different products to try combat them.

  183. My challenge is false eyelashes. I cannot for the life of me get them on right!! help please. Also applying the right colour foundation for my skin, its a nightmare 🙁

  184. Finding the right shade of foundation to suit me never get it right, and if i could find one that covers all my blemishes and wrinkles i would be extremely happy.

  185. I simply don’t know where to start – what to buy ,what quantity to buy. I guess i need some lessons and a teacher with patience…

  186. My biggest beauty challenge is skillz. I haz none. Shaky hands, poor eyesight… I think I look okay, then I put the glasses back on and NUH-HUH, girlfriend! So if there is a robot make-up applicator in that box one month, I’ll be REALLY excited!
    (Thanks for hosting the giveaway.)

  187. My challenge is finding the right products for my skin because one day it’s oily, one day it’s dry and sometimes it’s both.

  188. My biggest challenge is not overspending when I go anywhere near beauty products. I just want to buy everything!

  189. Oh I’d love to win. I hate saying no to people (sales people love me, my wallet… Not so much) so I avoid awkward situations where I have to check out products at a beauty counter. This sounds fab!

  190. My biggest challenge is not knowing ‘value for money’ products. I’m unsure of how to choose and apply products correctly and am therefore not wanting to spend money on make up items which will just roll around in the bottom of my toiletry bag. Would love the knowledge to find and use these ‘go to’ makeup products!

  191. My biggest beauty challenge his hydrating my skin during winter. Cracked lips as well, cant seem to get a moisturiser and balm that does the job.

  192. I have trouble with eyeshadow colours, what to wear, what not to wear , Whats good for summer winter and in between.

  193. I can never remove all of my eye makeup, especially waterproof eye liner. I end up with panda eyes regardless of trying my best to remove it. Bellabox would help me to discover new tricks and tools to help improve my beauty regime.

  194. My biggest challenge is getting stuck in the ‘mum rut’. Always thinking don’t worry about make up/ clean hair just get out the door!! But not anymore! I’m challenging myself to care for myself, because let’s face it, if I don’t do it no one will!!

  195. My biggest beauty challenge is trying to find the best products that suit my skin without irritation.

  196. I can never find the colour of foundation to match my skin. I always have the ring of dark before it touches my neck, help!

  197. Although I was taught once how to use products I am not confident in doing so and choosing what to use is a nightmare for me. I am not an overly girly girl and I think that is my biggest challenge…I want to be skin and beauty conscious but where do I start?

  198. My biggest beauty challenge is my good intentions. For example I intend to cleanse and tone my face but then don’t as I look at my bed and bathroom and the bed is more appealing. I intend to start the day fresh faced and feeling good about myself and then the kids get involved and I only get moisturiser on. My skin is a weird combination mix and I’m yet to find something that combats my really dry t zone but really oily chin and jaw line to keep my good intentions going.

  199. My biggest beauty challenge is the choices. Bb cream, primer, bb cream with primer, foundation, foundation with moisturiser the list continues. Then there is the vast range of skincare. Decisions decisions. What one works, what one is best. Cant i just buy them all…my wallet says no. Sigh.

  200. My biggest challenge is my eyeliner and lashes… I need to watch some YouTube videos infront of the mirror I think!!

  201. My biggest beauty challenge is make-up. I am hopeless at anything fancy and would love to learn how to master smokey eyes.

  202. I think my problem is actually finding products. Shops around here seem to stock less of a wide range of brands, so I have less products to compare and test for my skin, and then I just give up. 🙁

  203. My biggest beauty challenge is finding things that don’t irritate my eyes and things I feel comfortable in. It has resulted in me most days going to work without making myself feel great in makeup, which sadly also makes me absent for photos with my kids. I love makeup and I love the ritual that women go through putting it on and feeling a million bucks but finding the right products makes this so tough!

  204. My challenge (other than having 3 kids and no time!) – is living in regional VIC! We have the stores, but the variety to choose from is so limited, and buying online is difficult when you can’t actual hold and test the product yourself!

  205. My biggest challenge is definitely the lack of time. Since having a beautiful baby girl and then going back to work full time, I literally have ten mins to get ready in the morning. I love love love playing with new products but am so time poor that the thought of having to research and then go out and buy new products is really stressful! Conversely the idea of having a box of new goodies delivered every month sounds divine!

  206. My biggest beauty challenge is finding a nice product that is quick and easy to apply…baby boy’s apparently don’t understand the importance make-up application in makiby mum feel human ☺

  207. My biggest challenge:
I don’t know my ombre from my bellange!
I’ve always got no idea what to do!
No matter what I try it ends up drag queen, eww
The tom boy in me wants to be pretty
but alas my efforts are a bit *cough* sheety!

    😀

  208. Winged liner! Not looking like a white faced ghost in photos! Knowing what type of moisturiser to use on my face! arrgggh!

  209. Pregnancy is my biggest challenge! Instead of glowing my skin is dry and sad, I definitely need some help brightening up – probably even more so once bun arrives!

  210. My biggest beauty challenge is trying to find products/combinations of products that will hydrate my skin. No matter the season or weather, my skin is lacking moisture.

  211. I love trying and experimenting with different and new beauty products, but who can know what to buy or afford to try them? I love the idea of beauty professionals choosing and allowing people to experience fresh and wonderful new products every month: seems like my biggest beauty challenge is solved with Bellabox’s!

  212. My biggest beauty challenge is…children. I swear I just have to think about mascara and they are all lining up wanting a turn (yep, even my son lol!); I don’t have much time in the morning as it is, rushing to get four children ready and out the door so fending them off in the 5 minutes I do have to put anything on is a challenge in itself!

  213. Definitely my biggest challenge is change! I still use many of the same products I used as a teen and I don’t think my mid thirties skin loves it!!
Too many choices so I tend to stick with what I’ve known

  214. My challenge is finding the time to buy makeup and replace my disastrous collection. My drawer has makeup that dates back to the early 90s. The only thing I’ve managed to keep up to date is eyeliner because without it, I’d be in strife. My girls (8 and 4) have better makeup than I do. My 10 y/o son asked me what I was doing the other day as I was dabbing some half used eyeshadow with my finger (because all the brushes have long departed) . I said, ‘we mums have to put on makeup so we can look pretty’ (tilting my head and batting my eyelids at him through the mirror) He said, ‘you look tired’. I’ll have to train him up, me thinks. I’d just love to start fresh and set up the makeup drawer of dreams… one day. <3

  215. My biggest beauty challenge is that I don’t know what products for my skin type, but also I’ve never been that into beauty products…as I am getting older though I’d love to trial a few, especially as since having my little girl nice beauty products that make me feel good would be a nice pick me up after some sleepless nights!

  216. Im a typical mum- get everything and everyone else ready before myself. And once they’re all done there’s no money left for luxury items for me.

  217. My biggest beauty challenge is that I don’t take the time to pamper and look after my skin. I need to make me a priority and not just be looking out for my children and their needs

  218. My biggest beauty challange is finding time for myself to actually enhance my beauty. I never take time for myself.

  219. My biggest challenge is eye makeup! Like seriously, what am I supposed to do with it? I’ve tried in the past and usually end up poking myself in the eye causing it to run or I look like I’m going to an 80s party! Perhaps a monthly Bellabox subscription would help me practise 🙂

  220. Biggest beauty challenge = Applying make up. Could really use a training course of some kind. Followed closely by not knowing the right products for my skin.

  221. My beauty challenge is finding the right foundation shade I’m always either ghostly or mustard coloured hehe

  222. Eye makeup! I love it when I get it right but this one time I got it soooo sooo wrong! I met up with my new bloggy friends for the first time, woofed down the champagne then casually said “hi” (without breaking out into a fan girl scream) to Nikki from Styling You as we made our way to the loos before we went to her session about blogging.
To my horror massive Panda eyes!!! I just about passed out and DIED and my new friends never noticed. Now everytime I go out I nominate a friend for eyeliner check. My bloggy friends are up to speed now! Haha! So if I wink at you it means “how’s my eyes?! Are they ok?!!” ??

  223. My biggest challenge is actually being able to afford products. I’m a student, paying rent and bills as well as student fees. I also can’t seem to find any decent skin care within my limited budget.

  224. My biggest challenge is combination skin. I find that products for dry skin make me feel oily, but oily-skin products make me feel dry. And now that I’ve started finding some …ahem… wrinkles *OMG I totally just admitted to wrinkles* I have no idea which products to use.

  225. Figuring out a simple thing to zap my adult zits. I turned 40 (glitter strands in the hair and all) and suddenly I’m discovering zits around my nose and chin like when I was 14. Hello, Universe? You misheard the number.

  226. my biggest beauty challenge?l
I have 2 adorable children.. One who has a number of disabilities. I am on the road 2 hours most days just going to and from school.
His needs are high and he has extreme anxiety before school.

My biggest challenge is having time for me – most days I’m lucky to get a brush through my hair let alone make-up as I’m so busy with the kids before school.

Pre-kids I loved looking really nice.. But now that’s not at the top of my priority list.

Would love to win this – a box in the mail of products sounds incredible 🙂

  227. Erm. I literally have no idea what I’m doing. I actually googled for classes. I’m 37, I should know. I don’t. Is it too late to bother learning now???

  228. Biggest challenge – my 3 little kids! 3hrs sleep for me so far tonight…is there a product for that I wonder?

  229. My biggest beauty challenge is the passage of time. My mind still believes that I’m 16 but then I get puzzled when I look in the mirror at dry bits and wrinkly bits and weird stuff happening that never used to. Sometimes I can never mouriruse enough and then… sprouts of pimples pop up and that inner voice says “well you think you’re still 16 so I thought I’d give you a reminder of what that was like”.
Sigh. I think I’ll age disgracefully thanks and embrace whatever comes my way.

  230. Let’s face it; who doesn’t love a parcel in the post! And full of goodies that will make me feel va va voomish! I choose to believe that my skin is slipping due to post pregnancy hormones and NOT the fact that I’ve just hurdled to the other side of 40. I was once nicknamed Pantene hair; now that has become a constant battle of greying, split frizz.. Booo! And makeup…? Concealer, my friend…anything to cover those age and sun spots…but that’s about my highlight. HELP Bellabox & Chantelle. I need to try some miracle potions, but am too embarrassed and time poor to stand at the glossy counters with no idea what I’m even looking for.

  231. My biggest challenge is knowing what products to use and how to use them. I know I need a better skin routine but don’t know where to start. The thought of buying products scares me too because they are so expensive.. I dont want to waste my money on the wrong product or something I don’t end up liking.

  232. Oh, trying to find products that don’t dry my skin out OR make it oily is such a challenge!! Being able to try (for at least a week) before you buy is the perfect solution!

  233. My biggest challenge, is remembering to take make up off at night. I know its a big no no, but I don’t often wear a lot of make up.

  234. My biggest challenge is eye makeup! I’m blind in my right eye, so applying it evenly is nigh on impossible!! ?

  235. My biggest beauty challenge is I have NO idea what to do when it comes to a “beauty” routine. I never had anyone sit me down to show me what I “need” to do – no idea how to use make up, no idea what the best beauty routine should be. I cleanse, and I moisturise, and if there’s a special occasion, I’ll wear some lip gloss. That’s it. In my youth, I was too busy playing sports & running around doing a million things and never had time to learn. As I got older, I just got embarrassed about my lack of knowledge. And now, here I am, 30 with 12 years of experience, and still no idea how to use any beauty product. Like I said, embarrassed.

  236. I have very fair skin. I’m scared of using makeup as I fear I’d look like a clown. I would love to be able to try things with a little online guidance. Might be my time to finally shine before I turn 40 ? My 2 children tell me I’m beautiful but I think all little boys think that of their mums. I’d like to truly feel beautiful for the first time.

  237. My biggest beauty challenge is my skin. It’s so temperamental, sometimes super dry and five seconds later super not. I’ve spent a small fortune on so many beauty products to only use a it two or three times and find its not suited to my skin. Bellabox would be so helpful for trying new products!

  238. Keeping up with changes in fashion and what is appropriate for my age. It seems that I have been a stay at home mum for way too long and when I look at my make up and skin care its full of the same things I had before children. Im in desperate need of an update!

  239. My biggest challenge is finding reasonably priced skincare to suit my sensitive skin. I usually end up spending a lot of money on skincare as I’m too scared to experiment with cheaper alternatives. Bella box would give me the opportunity to try different things without outlaying the full cost.

  240. My challenge is age. I use a BB cream, mineral powder, mascara (if I am going out) and Carmex. I have never been able to find a decent lipstick and have no idea what do with my eyes anymore. For skin care I use Micellar water because it was recommended by Mrs Woog and whatever moisturisers are cheapest. I would love a Bellabox subscription to test out a few new things.

  241. My biggest beauty challenge is the pallet on which the artwork is to be applied! There isn’t enough make up or skin care in this world to turn this old love into a supermodel!

  242. TIME: I know that when I take the time to do my eyebrows, add a little blush, mascara and lipgloss, I feel better, it can lift my mood, give me a little extra pep in my step to charge through the day. My issue is I need some pointers on what products will help me & how to get a flawless looking simple make up done in ten minutes. If I could master that, I know I would have no problems putting on a face everyday

  243. I’ve never been a girly girl, I don’t know where to start. I’ve recently returned to work and am on a steep learning curve in the world of make up and beauty products! But it’s nice to be finally enjoying them.

  244. Time is definitely a big deal here. between the two kids and our health and sleeping issues, I just can’t be stuffed messing around with myself! You know, as a Mum I always put myself last 😉

  245. Cluelessness!! I seriously have NO idea when it comes to makeup, I still apply foundation by squirting it on the palm of my hand and rubbing it all over my face like sunscreen!! I need to take a class or five!

  246. I’m so clueless as to what to choose and what are the right products for me. I always think I should go to one of those counters at Myer but never get up the nerve!

  247. My challenge is remembering. I can’t remember what I’m doing from one minute to the next. When I’ve got a million things to remember to do , looking after myself is low on the list and this just after I’ve had a discussion with my preteen about looking after her skin.

  248. My biggest challenge is finding a balance between products that work for my skin and something natural, my 4 month old son likes to lick my face, the little weirdo, so I don’t want him ingesting nasties!!

  249. My biggest beauty challenge is: time. As a new mummy it’s a bonus if I get to shower let alone anything else. I would LOVE Bellabox as it would force me to try new things and take a few minutes for myself at least once a month – I swear I do get to shower more than once a month though hehe!

  250. My biggest beauty challenge is that I always believe the hype on the box! I’m always horribly disappointed when the products don’t do what they promise – being given lots of new ones to try would be very helpful ?

  251. My biggest challenge is the amount of products out there that all claim to do the same thing! How do you know which ones are actually going to work for you without spending hard earned money on the ones that don’t do what they say they will do! Bella Box would be perfect for this as you virtually get to try before you buy! I love that ?

  252. My biggest beauty challenge is so silly… Just trying to put on any form of eye makeup… I cant do a smokey eye to save my life. I look like I have black eyes. It’s quite sad.

  253. My biggest challenge is covering the “old age” brown spots that have started appearing on my face (from growing up at the beach).

  254. Time poor, 4 kids, can’t afford decent products and can’t for the life of me do eye liner and eye make up properly I feel like I should be in the circus.

  255. Im nearly 40 and still have no idea on the best products for my skin or how to apply them but id love to learn!

  256. My 2 BIGGEST challenges are I have a very oily nose & yet to find a product whether it be a facial wash/moisturiser or makeup that stops it from coming through during the day. The other is that I get extremely dry skin on my hands & still looking for the perfect moisturiser that moistens the skin without leaving a heavy layer on top. Hopefully Bella Box helps me find that!!!! ?

  257. Since having my first child 6 months ago none of my products seem to suit my skin anymore. There are so many products out there, I have no idea where to start or have the time to do anything.

  258. I kinda don’t know what I’m doing. .. and with 4 kids i find it hard to bring education up to speed. I only started taking moisteriser seriously in the last year. And I’m loving it.

  259. My biggest challenge? Teenage daughters. I swear I buy makeup. I’m positive I own lotions and potions and face goop and wipey-offey things. But I never see them. I don’t remember the last time I used the same makeup more than two days in a row. My daughters look fabulous every day for school – I’m lucky if I look cobbled together. Barely. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my smart, strong, don’t-take-crap-from-anyone, (*cough*taller than me*cough*) makeup devouring offspring, but for once I’d like to find my mascara where I left it last time. Or use a face wipe from a pack that was FULL two days ago. Oh how I’d love a Bellabox subscription. I’d keep it at work. Hidden away with my emergency Maltesers. Daughters be damned.

  260. Biggest beauty challenge is trying to balance a baby on my hip whilst applying any type or form of skincare or makeup, finding time in between feeds and nappy changes to paint my nails (because the minute I do she wakes and I’m trying desperately to dry my nails) and wondering how long I can really go between hair washes… I mean really, dry shampoo is ok for a week right???

  261. I up always up for a makeup challenge – often trying new products or smoky eyes when getting ready for an event…like a wedding! It often ends badly and I end up looking like a drag queen. Then there was the time my Mum (never trust beauty advice from your Mum!) suggested I try a co clear with a hint of green as it hides any redness in your skin. Well my first use was before a job interview and let’s just say I applied it a little too thick…it wouldn’t come off and I went along with so much foundation caked over the top I must have looked green and a funny shade of orange. I got the job though and I laugh about it with my colleagues now! ??

      • Seriously?! I just let out a massive squel and jumped in excitement. I have wanted a subscription for ages and couldn’t justify spending the money on myself – so I am really looking forward to this treat! Thank you so much Chantelle – hoping there is no green/orange skin makeup malfunctions in the future! Xx ash

  262. My biggest challenge is deciding what products I need. There is soooo many different products available these days I become quite overwhelmed and just go with what I know (or dont buy anything and walk out empty handed). Winning a bella box subscription will help me get out of my zone and help me try different products in the comfort of my own home.

  263. Biggest challenge is having the time alone to shop for products. Workingfull time, 5yr and 2yr old, husband and life in general make it difficult to get “me time” to browse through the makeup/beauty sections. When I get to look I have children attached or husband waiting outside the shop telling me hurry up! #mumslife!

  264. My biggest beauty challenge is my ever changing skin thanks to age/hormones/environment. I’ve just hit 40 and feel sure my skin is throwing a tantrum about it ?

  265. My biggest challenge is choosing between brands. There are hundreds of brands all promising beautiful glowing skin and reducing wrinkles etc etc. It’s completely overwhelming! Even if I was to narrow it down to what fits in my budget, unless you try the product it’s still a lucky dip. I’m yet to find a product or brand that is ‘me’, Bellabox would be perfect for trying new products along the way 🙂

  266. My greatest challenge is everything! Moving interstate my whole makeup/hair thingy (?) has changed. The products I used in melb don’t work the same up here because of the humidity. So most days I walk around with a slab of ‘cold weather’ caked on makeup and hair that looks like a hedgehog – I need a serious makeup makeover but have no idea where to start! Would love to ‘try’ something new.

  267. There is just so many products out there and when it comes to colour choices I always get the wrong one. I have a draw full of no that doesn’t suit me. Why is it so hard ahhhhh

  268. My greatest challenge is that I never learnt how to use products so I get overwhelmed when I go to the shops to find stuff to buy.
Also, having struggled my way through uni in youth homeless support I have a debt behind me and can’t just afford to buy products to try incase they’re not right and waste them.

  269. I don’t know how to girl! Haha! I have a friend who is a beauty therapist and I still can’t figure out how to blend my foundation, yet alone perfect the winged eye liquid eyeliner..

  270. My biggest beauty challenge is trying to tame my thick, curly and often frizzy hair. It is a force of nature and is impossible for me to control so it’s mostly pulled back in a plait, a ponytail or bun….unless I pay someone $50 to spend an hour straightening it….. :
Don’t get me wrong – I’m grateful to have a good head of healthy hair because I know what it’s like to have no hair. I’ve had chemotherapy twice and therefore have lost my hair twice (and my eyelashes and my eyebrows) and it’s awful….it’s one of the worst things about cancer treatment. So I’m glad to have my hair back, but sometimes I just wish I could walk out the door with an effortless hairstyle falling fashionably around my shoulders instead of a gigantic ball of fuzz growing out horizontally from my head…… 🙂

  271. My greatest challenge is choice! There’s too many options and I have no idea what I should use and what will work! ?

  272. My greatest challenge is that i put everyone before me & therefore I end up looking like a homeless person & they all look amazing … I think I need to make more time for me, try new stuff, relax & enjoy beautifying myself ?

  273. Argh! I totally don’t know how to do my make up properly! And I really need guidance with skincare! Since having kids, mummy time takes a back seat to everything!

  274. My biggest challenge is to find the right products for make up in Australia because I have brown skin which I love:)
The trouble is buying loads to experiment what would suit my skin color

  275. My biggest challenge is that I just don’t know what to use! Beauty confuses me and I have never really learnt how to look after my skin/hair/etc properly.

  276. My biggest challenge is finding the time to play around with makeup. Any time I step in front of the mirror, my baby will open his eyes, squeal, getting louder each time and demand my attention.

  277. My biggest challenge is that I’m not sure what works for me and I’m constrained by a very tight budget, so I’m reluctant to try things. Everything is so expensive and it’d feel like such a waste if it didn’t work out. Also I work from home and don’t have a huge social life (aside from taking my 2yo to the park), so I don’t feel like I ever need to use make-up. Or even wash my hair! But I feel like there would be a lot of products that could improve my plain appearance quite a lot. I just don’t know what they are!

  278. My biggest challenge is ‘me time’! With three busy children who seem to do way too many activities (lol) I just don’t get time to shop around. I keep my makeup in the car so I can put it on if I arrive somewhere a few minutes early. Would love a monthly surprise box of goodies just for me !!!!

  279. Looks like a fab selection of products.
My greatest beauty challenge is to find hair care products that suit my hair! Most make it too dry, too oily, too yuk:( sick of trying new products only to find I’ve wasted my $$. Thanks for the chance to win.

  280. Pimples! I have way too much grey hair to deserve this incessant acne. And my skin flakes off and becomes too dry if I use acne treatments… I can’t take antibiotics because I’m breastfeeding. I just conceal, conceal, conceal until it looks like I have some kind of orange spot syndrome.

  281. My biggest challenge is being 40 (LOL) – my skin is a lot more dry, it does not shine with lovely youthfulness and I am always exploring affordable products that can help me shine again xx

  282. At this point my challenge is time. With a non sleeping 6 week old and toddler in ‘I can’t believe you’ve brought this thing home!’ mode, I’m lucky to even shower! So what do I put on my face that’s quick & makes me look a million bucks…even without the shower?

  283. As I get older I am finding I no longer have oily skin and seem to be rapidly heading towards rather dry skin. It’s all very odd and I’m finding it difficult to know what products to change to.

  284. My biggest beauty challenge is time! no time to find products, let alone apply anything except the basics. inspiration to use lovely new things would be a wonderful treat! x

  285. My greatest challenge is knowing what is the best thing for me to use, especially as i get older!!! Plus of course finding time in the mornings while getting two kids rwady for school!

  286. What worked when I was younger doesn’t sit so well as I get older. I have less time but more confusion about products. It is very overwhelming. I would love to try new products but I have no idea where to start.

  287. I’m 46 with two older sisters who never taught me about make-up or skincare and a Mother who never bothered with both. So I am fairly clueless and have managed to fake my way through life. When people comment on my make-up I thank them and laugh hysterically inside. I have no clue and I’m probably still wearing it as they did in the 80s. I had post-natal and hormonal acne that required me to try different skin care treatments. How embarrassing to confess to professionals that in my 30s I had never used skin care in my life! What a process that has been. I now have a Beauty Therapist who has helped me a little of the way. I often consider booking her for a make-up lesson, but am a little too embarrassed. Maybe the time is now right.

  288. My current greatest beauty challenge is my daughter. She is in the throws of her tweeny years and has discovered my makeup. She goes and helps herself to my stash for a little experiment without my knowledge or permission and before I’ve even had time to wonder what she’s up to, makeup is covering ever bathroom surface … and a little on her too. Part of me loves her excitement in playing grown up (it’s still dress up really) but my blush has been broken up as have many eye shadows from being dropped. She has shared my lipsticks and eye pencils with her friends (ewww contamination!). I’d love a bella box sub so that I could replenish my beauty supplies, try some new lovely things … And perhaps share with my daughter so she can stop stealing mine :).

  289. Got kids, definitely time poor but my biggest challenge is post makeup skin; how does everyone where makeup everyday and not get breakouts? How does that work? I’m sure there is something but it is a mystery to me! I’m in my 30’s and my skin should not be having breakouts like a teen, I mean come on skin, get it together!

  290. As I get older I’m finding my biggest challenge is making room in the budget and allocating the time needed to explore all the products out there and find the right ones for my combination and sensitive skin. I get seriously intimidated when walking into any pharmacy/beauty counter/makeup store as the range is OVERWHELMING!! Seriously overwhelming. So I stick with the boring stuff I already use coz “no thought required”. My poor skin.

  291. My biggest beauty challenge is that I am utterly clueless. The best it gets is a slap of mascara and swipe of lipstick. I would love to experiment without spending a fortune on products that may not suit!

  292. My biggest beauty challenge is that I tend to buy all the latest and greatest products because they look great on paper/screen – but then I end up with heaps of opened, unsuitable products. It’s a waste of time, money and space! I wish every awesome thing came in sample sizes!!

  293. My greatest challenge is I don’t know what works for me.
When it comes to getting my daughter ready for dance concerts and eisteddfods I know what I am doing and can even do it while sitting in the back of a moving car – but put me in front of the mirror to do myself and I am like a fish out of water!

  294. Being a single mum to a busy 2yr old little girl, my mind is often on her and what we can afford. So putting money towards beauty products or even splurging on facials or massages or really good quality makeup kind of sits very very low down in my to buy list. I’m usually scraping the very last reminents of my makeup before getting more. Winning a subscription would be a bit of luxury and pampering for me!! Thanks for the chance!! Xxx

  295. My biggest challenge is I have no idea about beauty routines and makeup. I was never taught and now my daughters are getting to an age where they want to know stuff it gets hard. Also time poor but who isn’t 🙂

  296. Trying to do my makeup with a 2 year old who’s obsessed with makeup and wants some on her too. I’ve had so many eyeshadows destroyed too.

  297. my biggest challenge is finding products that do the things i want them to that are EASY to get results. ie: i dont have the time to do this whole contour craze with 15 different products, but i still want to look like ive half tried to look ok!

  298. Definitely time poor and half the time having no idea what products to buy and what is suitable for me It doesn’t help being completely indecisive and struggle to make the most easiest of decisions I’ve certainly been known to pace the beauty aisles just trying to decide on a lippy ? and musnt forget my two gorgeous girls one a tween and one waiting in the wings who both love experimenting with beauty products especially applying makeup I can hardly blame them we would be totally excited to receive a mystery box each month with new and exciting goodies to try ?

  299. Doing eye make up with one eye that doesn’t work properly! My good eye always looks bad because I’m looking through my bad eye to do it.

  300. My biggest challenge is trying to hide my acne scarring. I have dark spots all over my cheeks and I feel like people are constantly looking at them! (even though nobody seems to really notice/care except me!) I’m 31, I shouldn’t have acne still but such is life! Some products that have helped are Bare Minerals powder and Tea Tree Oil BB cream from The Body Shop!
