Wishes For Your Weekend.

Missed me? I haven’t been anywhere exciting. Just trying to survive on no sleep. This week has been torture sleep wise. Nothing you haven’t heard before though. I’ve just had nothing left in the tank so this place missed out. I hope to be back next week though, with no bags under my eyes and a little more pizazz.

Just quickly… isn’t it funny how much sleep deprivation effects you? I can barely type. I can barely string a sentence together. It really is a form of torture, I’m sure.

What are 3 wonderful things that happened to you this week?

1. I was happily surprised when I stumbled across the new desktop wallpapers at Kindred this week. Especially when I saw the beautiful one (above) from Caitlin Shearer. It’s currently my wallpaper. A few months ago Amanda from Swish and Swanky sent me two little works from Caitlin (who is an Aussie) as a little thank you. I love them and was so happy to see Caitlin had created a sweet wallpaper too.

2. Yesterday morning was a disaster of sorts. A lost sports shoe. Torrential rain. Running Late. Miss 6 (at work) has a wicked little sense of humour. Yesterday she had me falling to the floor, cracking up, with tears in my eyes. Even throughout the day I would stop in my tracks, cracking up, remembering the morning.

3. Happy Mail. Every day this week a little bit of loveliness arrived in the post for me. I ♥ Happy Mail.

What about you? What are your wonderfuls?

We’ve decided we’ll probably postpone our City jaunt this weekend, to another time. I am more than happy to spend time with my loved ones at home. I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Mine will involve cake and cuddles. Happy birthday to me. xx

    get some good sleep, margaret

  10. Hi Chantelle, have been enjoying your blog for a while…about time I said hello and tell you I love your style. I don't know how the slimming thing is going, but it's been a similar journey for me of trying to reclaim the before-baby body. Anyway, just file this under annoying, unsolicited advice if you like, but I wanted to tell you I have found the Cohen's programme wildly successful. It's hard core for a few weeks so you'd want to be a bit better slept than you sound to be right now (much sympathy, btw) but very effective. I've lost about 13kgs and it's helped me make some permanent changes in the way I consume carbs. I hope you get some more sleep very soon and congrats on a great blog, Von in Perth
