Weekend.

It’s the weekend. Welcome Mr. Weekend. I’m so glad to see you. Ever so glad.

On Sunday at 6:04am Miss Lacey turns the ripe old age of ONE. I can not believe it. A year? Where did that time go? Where is my gooey little newborn?

I’ve been playing this game all week. I call it This Time Last Year.

This Time Last Year I was waddling around.

This Time Last Year I went for my last ante-natal appointment.

This Time Last Year I was turning up to work each day wondering if it would be my last day.

This Time Last Year my belly was big and round, and ready to burst.

This Time Last Year I was on the verge of meeting my wee little girl.

And here I am now. A mother of a toddler. Mother? Toddler? I’m obviously not getting my head around this one very quickly. I will though… eventually.

We’re having a tiny little party at my Ma’s house. Just family. Cake. Tea. Polka dots. A little tea party.

Hubby’s best friend fell pregnant the same time as us last year (without either of us having any idea that it would be happening). They were due almost a week after us, but ended up having their little boy the day before us. He’s the sweetest little man. He’s having a party tomorrow. So we’ll be all partied out by the time the end of the weekend rolls around. Thankfully Daylight Savings ends on Saturday night and we get an extra hours sleep.
We might just need it. xx
I’ll leave you with a video of Lacey walking this afternoon. She’s been walking for about six weeks now, but only taking about 7 steps at a time. As of yesterday she’s a little walker. She walks with her little arms out like a zombie. She’s too cute. (Excuse the messy house. It’s been one of those weeks. Cleaning day is tomorrow).

  4. I believe that avoiding processed foods is a first step to help lose weight. They will often taste fine, but prepared foods have very little nutritional value, making you consume more in order to have enough vigor to get with the day. Should you be constantly having these foods, transferring to cereals and other complex carbohydrates will aid you to have more vigor while eating less. Interesting blog post.
