With summer just around the corner, which for me is all about swim season, today I’m sharing where to shop waterproof jewellery, the kind you can wear from the bath to the beach, and back again.
With a big focus on gold, because fashion (and because gold-filled jewellery is quite water-resistant) there are so many beautiful pieces available. I started shopping, and then thought (I might make a blog post out of this!).
Tips for wearing waterproof jewellery
While most stores claim that pieces are completely waterproof, for the most part their water-resistant, and can still fade and be affected by prolonged wear, and water exposure. So of course, have a great summer and wear your pieces, but also know that it can be affected over time. The below tips will help extend the life of your waterproof jewellery pieces.
- Dry jewellery thoroughly, with a soft cloth, after swimming or bathing
- Store jewellery in a dry, protected place when you’re not wearing it

A little note. For the past 15 years, I’ve loved writing and sharing my life, the good and bad, with you, my beautiful readers. Over those years I’ve often recommended products, and services that I’ve tested, tried and/or researched. Off my blog, I’ve always been the person that people go to to ask, “Do you know what the best X is?” I’ll often publish blog posts or guides to products that I’m having fun researching, and would recommend. Some of those posts, like this one, may include paid inclusions (where I may receive a small commission at no cost to you), but I promise to only feature products that I have or would happily buy myself. Honesty and transparency is, and always will be super important to me, because I know it’s important to you too.
