I’m totally an enabler but after spending two weeks at my mum’s house, I realised that it must be hereditary so I’ve been trying to reel it in. Here’s to more cheerleading, less enabling and high fives for the person who will eat the last slice of cake!
Ha, yes! I reckon less enabling and more cheerleading is a very good idea. xx
100 percent enabler here and so is my hubby! But as I face Day 4 eating rations of Syrian Refugees (and have raised more than $750 which is enough to feed 2 refugees for a year) I too am questioning my enabler status and whether or not it’s helpful or not. I have watched my kids and husband eat icecream from Baskin Robbins, I’ve drooled as hubby eat chippies in front of me, I have held strong. When I have rice porridge for breakfast, and rice with chicken stock for lunch and lentil soup for dinner I think of my relationship with food and whether I need to change it! That chocolate looks SOO GOOD xxx
Oh gosh, I love that you’re having big thoughts like this. I need to do the same. When I did a trip earlier this year, our consumerism and want for stuff we don’t really need made me feel physically sick. It’s a good little wake-up call.
I am
I am DEFINITELY an enabler, but I’d never really thought about it before and now I’m questioning all of my decisions haha
Oh god Murphy! Don’t look too deep! Just eat chocolate {not enabling AT ALL!}.
Oh god I’m the worst too, zero willpower whatsoever. Life’s too short!
It is! Life is too short. But life will be too short if I keep eating these babies!
I’m the opposite. I was literally talking to Stacey about this last night – I was known as Cock Blocker Carly in high school for stopping my mates from sleeping with dickheads. I’m basically a fun ruiner. But we make the perfect combo I think. Everyone needs a friend like and a friend like me! 🙂
Yes, ying and yang!
I can’t do white choc! Though I did just walk to Coles in my lunch break for some dark choc because FRIDAY AFTERNOON IS DRAGGING….
I’ve always had a thing for it. I wish I was all about the dark chocolate, because it’s healthier… but I do love white chocolate. Not always, and only when I have a very sweet tooth… but when it happens, it happens!
I hope the rest of your afternoon hurried up!
I’m not a fan of white chocolate at all – bit Lindt has a dark chocolate ball filled with coconut – OH MY GOD! Thankfully only the less tempting milk chocolate version is at my local supermarket ?
