Skinny For Santa

I am starting up another little challenge. I found it easier to lose weight and be healthy when I had our little group to accountable to. So, I am starting another and calling it Skinny For Santa.

It’s SIX weeks until the week of Christmas. SIX. Holy crap, I need to start shopping. That aside, I also need to get skinny for Santa.

As Heidi Klum says: Are you in? Or Are you out?

So comment below if you are in. Tell me your goals {they don’t have to weightloss orientated} and I promise to have your back {and perhaps even stalk you to see how you are doing}.

I'm going to stick with your 'S' theme and say that seeing as though it's six weeks until christmas from Friday – my aim is between now and Christmas day to lose the 4 kilos I have just put on in the last month + another 2 – totalling: 6kg. I'll try to post on it too – let you know where i'm at.

    I'm currently doing Weight Watchers, but with Christmas coming up, my love of baking could take over!

    My aim is to loose 4 kgs, which I think will be tough… that's being really good, every week! 600g per week.

    I'm going to count the weeks starting on Tuesdays, so I'll weigh in tomorrow and start from there!

  3. Okay my effort last time was completely pathetic. I hang my head in shame. But this time I need to get serious! I need to lose around 10kgs to be a healthy weight again. So this time I am really going to go on this journey with you.

    Okay so my overall goal is to lose 4kgs. And the steps to get me there – no unhealthy snacking (bad Alicia), healthy meals every day except for Saturday which will be my free day, try to exercise at least 3 times a week, although it isn't looking likely this week due to the yukky heatwave – and drink lots of water! OH and only sample one of my baked goods per batch – and no licking the damn bowl!

    Phew! Thanks for doing this and please stalk me, I definitely need it.

  4. Count me in girlfriend! I have recently started on a diet (yuk) and my short term goal was to lose 10kg by christmas, I weigh on on a tuesday so I think after this tuesday I should have about 7kg to go, so I really hope I make it! Good luck with your goals too.

  5. I'm in. I only need to lose a couple of kgs, but I just don't feel comfortable in my skin, currently. 'sides, I want to hit the beaches when I'm down at Christmas – which means a bikini *anxious*

    On that note, if you're free for a coffee 26-30 Dec or the Aust. Day long weekend, let me know 😀

    I hope to lose 3kg by Christmas….
    That will leave 5kg to lose before the wedding.
    (I also plan to join the gym and start going to shapeme(.com.au)

  7. Oh we're already doing Weight Watchers here. We like the structure and accountability of it.

    I've lose 8kg in 6 weeks and hoping to lose 30kg overall. He's lost about the same, but only needs to lose 20ish.

    So anyway, it won't hurt to report here too. Good luck guys!

  8. Great idea! I'm in. I haven't weighed myself in ages, but really need to lose at least 20kgs. But for Christmas, I'll keep it realistic and stick with the 6 theme – 6 kilos. Time to get that guest membership for the local gym!

  10. I've got 7kgs to go…would love to lose 12 but that's a dream. Mission trying to fit in all the exercise with little kids (naptime co-ordination!)

  11. I'm in. I am exercising like a trooper but eating like a bastard.
    If I didn't eat like a bastard i'd be in good nick. Need help with discipline on the snacking. Count me in. I would like to lose 5kg by chrissy or at least if I haven't lost the weight – to know that I am eating healthily always

  12. I completely belly-flopped (horrible pun absolutely intended!) last time I tried this, and have actually put on a couple of kilos!

    So count me in, and hopefully I can stick with it this time. I'm hoping my increasing poverty and the hot weather (yay, salads and summer fruits!) curb my appetite somewhat.

    My aim is to drop from 74kg to 70kg.

    i would love to lose 2kg by xmas/nye
    but i haven't weighed myself in a year and im too scared to now.
    i think id be able to tell if i lost 2kg by my clothes anyway.
    i need to step up my exercise.
    my goal is 3 x 5km a week.

  15. Oh yay! Oh yay! You know I love your challenges 🙂 Just spend a holiday week eating left over halloween sweets and chocolate so I'm most definitely in! (Plus skinny for santa makes me laugh so!!)

  16. I love this idea!!! I want to participate! As much as I want to do this I know I'm probably bound to fall off the wagon or not try my best… I mean seriously, holiday cookies & food!?!?! Okay, I'll try my best! 🙂

  17. Somehow I missed this post…..and I am SO in. I really need to get going with this.

    My goal is to kickstart my weightloss a bit and as much as I feel a bit woeful about this I think I'm going to start off with doing something like Celebrity Slim for the first few weeks. Unfortunately I think I need to see some sort of result until my mind will be motivated enough to get my diet more where it should be.

    I'm going to try and organised for this for tomorrow to start. I need to lose about 14kg!!
