  4. This will be my third month to play along! I love how it makes me more aware of things around me when I’m stumped or looking for something that fits the prompt. I’ve missed a few here & there, sometimes a full week, but it’s so much fun! Thanks so much for putting thought & time into putting this list together each month for us!

  15. Hubby and I played just between ourselves this month, and next month miss 8 and miss 10 want to play too. We don’t post them anywhere, just a family chat around the dinner table each night.

August is my first month – been loving it! though sometimes i run out of time and have to resort to a photo of something i dont like so much.. but i want to stick to doing it everyday, rather than ‘catching up’, so it can certainly be a challenge for that. thanks! 🙂 http://www.flickr.com/photos/global_local/ if anyone cares to check them out.

September will be my first month & I’m hoping to see a challenge for 2013 (if not, I’ll just do the 2012 ones) 😉 I have a Shuttercal account (Mariko_1986) & Flickr as well (Mariko_1986). I hope to be able to keep up, I tend to start these & give up. :-

  29. I love this challenge, I started in July and due to medical and family issues I sometimes have to play catch up, but enjoy this never the less ……..thank you it also helps to take my mind of other things for a while 🙂

  30. I’ll be participating for my third month 🙂 but I’m not using the new hashtag. No offense or anything, but I like to have the month in there as a way to keep the photos organized!

  35. I’ve missed quite a few days in August, but I just catch-up and don’t stress about it. I’ll be participating because I use the theme, as a journal blog…to and incorporate the day’s event. Thanks for organizing the photo a day. I love it and I’m addicted to it.

  44. I played in August for the first time and, although some days I missed, I caught up the next day so I did get 31 photos for the month. I love it because it makes me use the camera. My husband and son both helped too so that was nice as well. I’m going to do it for September too but I don’t really understand what a hashtag is or what it’s for. I didn’t use one in August. I posted my photos on my Facebook page and had a lot of people tell me they enjoyed seeing them every day. So, could you (or someone) explain to me what a hashtag is and how to use it, please? Where do I put it?

    • If you use Instagram or Twitter to post your pictures it’s a way to tag them so anyone can search and find similar photos. You just type in the hashtag # sign followed by a word or words (in this case #FMSphotoady). You can search and see other people participating and their photos.

  45. I’ve been doing the photos since this past March when I noticed a friend of mine doing them. I think in the past six months there have only been 5-6 that I haven’t done for one reason or another. For instance, the instructions for one day in July was to photograph someone I don’t know and post it. Well, since I wouldn’t want some stranger posting pictures of me on-line, I wasn’t about to do that to someone else. And one of August’s instructions was to take a picture of a dream I had and I simply couldn’t figure out how to do a picture of myself flying. This month’s list looks interesting and some of them seem challenging.

  60. I read about this inspiring “project” on a blog I follow. Even though it’s already September 3rd now I will participate 🙂 And try my best! Plan to share the pics on twitter, Instagram and on my own blog. And don’t be too hard on me if I miss a day or two 😉 I’m just a rookie!

  64. I’m trying to keep up, I love the challenge. Very hard with 3 full time kids and 2 part time kids I have a lot of fun with this and hope once school gets flowing I will be on top of it every day!

  67. I have to admit, my photo for today was not taken by me, but it is a photo OF me. I don’t have any pictures of my band other than at gigs, but band practice is something I do most weekends.

  69. Are we following the list at the top or the list with the daily descriptions? Because I noticed that the 10th and 11th are reversed in the lists!

  74. My hubby is deployed for the second time this year, so I started doing the photo a day on my blog’s (www.VivaciouslyVintage.com) facebook page as a fun way for him to see what I’m up to while he’s gone until April…or May…or June…basically all they know for sure is they don’t know! lol
