I have lots to blog about, but not enough time to put it all together. So today I am just doing a little thing that I saw over at Meet Me At Mikes. I hope you’re having a lovely morning.
Cooking : not a lot. I did cook dinner on Father’s Day thought. A roast rack of lamb with mash and spinach. I did buy the mash though. Tsk. Tsk.
Drinking: Fizzy water. I have found a new love.
Reading: I just finished reading Mia Freedman’s book. I loved it oh so much.
Wanting: a new bed frame but thinking I should just paint my old one instead.
Looking: at the sky and feeling Summer just around the corner.
Playing: my new CD’s Taken By Trees and She & Him. Beautiful. Hubby doesn’t agree.
Wasting: time writing this when I could be cleaning the stray sultanas from my handbag.
Sewing: nothing, but thinking about sewing a patchwork quilt. The last time I did any sewing was when I was 8.
Wishing: that we would win the lottery.
Enjoying: spending time with a good friend that I haven’t seen in a while. So much to catch up on.
Waiting: Lacey to wake up from her nap, which should be soon.
Liking: my life at the moment. It’s heading in the right direction.
Wondering: where we’ll go for my 30th birthday celebrations next year. We can’t decide.
Loving: my chicken, rocket, hommus, tomato and avocado sandwiches. Still.
Hoping: that I lose weight again this week.
Marvelling: at life itself. Pretty amazing stuff.
Needing: to be more disciplined.
Smelling: freesias.
Wearing:
the dress above to my friend’s wedding in November. It arrived in the mail yesterday and I’m not sure about it. To my delight it was too big. Haven’t felt that in a loooong time.
Following: just about everything. News, blogs, Hubby, Lacey.
Noticing: that it’s already starting to get busier in Bondi. Ick.
Knowing: not enough, but wanting to know more.
Thinking: that life is what you make of it, most of the time.
Bookmarking: Blogs I love.
Opening: Mail. Love it.
Giggling: At Hubby and his fake eBay Calvin Klein undies. Too funny.
Feeling: ever so clucky.
