Mother’s Day Giveaway: Goodies Galore.

I

am loving the love around here this week. I hope you can feel it like I can. It’s super lovely. I’m loving hearing about you, your mamas, and what makes you happy. It’s lovely.

This afternoon I’ve got a gaggle of goodies to giveaway. Joy! Mad Stitches has offered up this lovely rose ring in cream {I have it in black and adore it}. It’s very pretty. LuLu FrouFrou has given up a whole heap of goodies: hair pins, a necklace, a ring and lots of hair clips. Re-arranged has donated some beautiful handmade envelopes {lovingly made from the pages of an Anthropologie catalogue} and twelve handmade magnets. Very trendy {and oh so much more chic than the pest control and plumber magnets that sometimes adorn my fridge}. Scissors Paper Rock has sent over a mini lavender garden. It’s such neat idea. You can plant them inside the bag, and Claire will happily personalise the label for you. For $10 I think they’re a very affordable and sweet gift.

To enter to win this lovely giveaway, just leave a comment answering this question: What is your favourite flower?

*Winner will be announced on Monday May 10th

  1. My favourite flower is a Rose. I know, I know, it's boring. But to me roses are timeless. They represent life, love, friendship & loss.

  2. My favourite flowers are sweet peas.

My Grandma had them in her yard as I grew up and gave me a small bunch every birthday as a child and into adulthood, they remind me of her.

  3. Peonies. There is something so romantic about them.

  4. Freesias.

They remind me of one of my dearest friends Cat and a time when we went to our work Christmas dinner together wearing them in a corsages that she had organised for us.

Many years later she gave me a Diptyque candle for my birthday.

And every time I hear the word, see the flower, look at the candle or think of that corsage I think of her.

  7. My favourites have got to be Zucchini flowers. Not only are they quite pretty to look at, but they are delicious! What other flower can be deep fried full of cheese? They are simply fantastic 😀

  8. oh goodies!
Lillies are my fave, but I wouldn't say no to a bunch of mixed flowers from the yard, or even from the servo these days!!

    Thanks x

  9. Gorgeous giveaway!

My fav flower has recently changed from Lilly's to Orchids. My friend gave me one for my birthday and I adore it!

  10. It is hard to pick a favourite but I'd say freesia. I spend hours drinking up the scent when they're in bloom.

  11. The Flanders Poppy. So beautiful and with such meaning, it holds a special place in my heart. Followed by lavender as it holds a special childhood significance – picking lavender at my grandmother's house, and mum making lavender bags. My socks and knickers always smelt of lavender!

  12. I love…. blue bonnets. They grow along the freeways in texas during spring and they brought some colour into my world when I lived in the usa.
I also love waratahs and all native aussie flowers.

  13. I love the Pink Tiger Lillies, they remind me of relaxing on a tropical island and were also my wedding flowers.

  14. When I lived in Canada, they had a tulip festival (apparently the biggest outside of the nordic countries that normally have tulips) Ever since then I have love seeing a whole field of tulips… all the colours are just magnificent.

plus being in canberra, we have our own dose of tulips and other wonderful flowers during floriade in September.

  15. oriental lilies 🙂 But i don't want to be in it to win it, for obvious reasons! Love the way you photograph my products 🙂 x

  16. I actually don't have a favourite, i just love anything that is bright and colourful and of course one that smell wonderful too….
If I didn't have to buy them for myself then i am excited!

  17. Gosh what a lovely bunch of goodies!!!

Favorite flower Oh my gosh… so many to choose from…uhmmmmm I am going to say Red Roses <3 I love when my husband buys them for me. Its been a loooooong time between flowers though lol

My favourite flower hands down is White Oriental Lillies – their frangrance is divine!

    xx

  19. So many beautiful flowers… My favourite is the franjipani simply because the smell is so divine; I could sit and smell a franjipani for hours! 🙂

  20. My favorite flower is my beautiful daughter jade..but if i have 2 pick one from the garden it would be lilies. My little 2yr old human flower would say the pretty ones. Sue…susan_potter@amp.com.au…thank you for the chance 2 win these wonderful gifts

  21. definitely have to say orchids, the most beautiful range of colours. However i also love lilies and iris'

  22. That's easy huge pink and white oriental lillies. I had them for my wedding bouquet and my husband or I try and buy them for the house at least once a fortnight. They are gorgeous even before they open and then when they open up the smell fills the house. Divine

  23. I actually have lots of favourites, sometimes it is roses the smell of fresh roses bushes are divine and since I can't grow them here even better when traveling. I also love Hydrangeas for the colours and Chrysanthemums for Mother's Day.

  24. Peonies. Fat and blowsy, in dusty pinks and browns, like the best kind of dancing skirt. I carried them on my wedding day and I think they are the most romantic flower ever.

  25. I love freesias. They're so pretty, and a little bit wild. I used to think frangipanis were my favourite until my wedding when I realised freesias were so much more 'me'.

  26. This is the first time I stop by this blog. Came over from Mockingbird. It is lovely. I'll be coming back.

My fav flower is the gardenia (that's the spanish name but I think it is the same in English-it is white and smells great!)

  27. I think my favorite flower is whatever flower I am looking at at any given moment, whether it be a pansy, nasturtium or rose…I love them all!

  28. I love peonies.
When Sadie was born I was given the most amazing arrangement and the peonies were a soft pink with a drk pink peeking through the middle. Amazig

  29. just one favourite??? hmm well I know it's probably known more as a weed but I like Jasmine flowers – probably because they remind me of when my sister was little (she is also a Jasmine) and the smell is just so fresh

  30. tough choice and it varies all the time. Currently it is lilac and in all colours- pink white and lilac 🙂

  31. I know it's a popular one, but I love frangipanis. My nan and pop had a beautiful big tree in their garden when I was growing up, and nanna had some of them in her wedding bouquet. I ended up having them in mine too.

  32. I should probably say Poppies, because Poppy is my daughter's name, but I love DAISIES! They are so happy and beautiful and look really simple, but when you look closely they are complex and full of beautiful details. Just what I want for my life 🙂

    Happy Mothers Day!

  33. More give-aways Chantelle, your really outdoing yourself this time!! lol
My fav flower changes at a daily rate but today Im loving white lilliums (?) as my hubby gave me a bunch yesterday for our 10year wedding anniversary!!

  34. Roses.
They're beautiful and fragrant, and I have the same characteristics as them. If you are nice to me, I'll reward you with kindness. If you are mean to me, I'll prick you with my thorns!

    Effie (ebakkalis@bigpond.com)

  35. Sunflowers – how can you not smile when they are in the room. My other is champayne roses – reminds me of my wedding day.

  36. White Orchids – when they bloom its absolutely stunning and delicate, representing purity and messages of love.

They may be one of the hardest plants to take care of but it is worth the wait!

  37. Roses…because they are part of my name in the 'real' world and they look beautiful throughout the journey of their life and growth. From tiny bud to full bloom just like women!
