Loveliness.

Hello.
How are you?
We’re good here. We had a lovely weekend. I know I say that all the time, but we did. It was the perfect mix, weather wise. Saturday was sunny and warm enough for parties in the park. Sunday was cold and miserable, perfect for snuggling inside and hot chocolates.
I hope that your weekend was just as lovely, filled with lots of snuggles and chocolate.
As always I love to know what you got up to, and what made you smile, and what may have made you frown. Please jump on board and comment to let me know what went down in your town/life over the weekend. It makes me feel like I’m not talking to myself…
My high for the weekend was … hanging out with Ma on Saturday night. We had a girly night in the City. We had no idea where we wanted to go for dinner but we stumbled across this little French restaurant. It was lovely. We then watch a movie, and since we were too full for any cinema type food we picked up a choc top on the way out. I think the last time I had a choc top was 1990, so it was yummy to revisit those times. It brought back memories.
My low for the weekend was … hearing that an acquaintance’s daughter is ill with leukemia. It just broke my heart. I know she’ll be okay, but the journey to wellness is a long one. It’s just so heart breaking.
I wish you all well for the week. I hope it’s kind to you. xx
P.s. Sorry about the formatting. Blogger drives me bonkers sometimes! It just won’t fix!

  1. We had a bittersweet weekend.

High… finding some bargain winter clothes for next season for the kiddies at Target. I got a whole wardrobe for DS#1, a pair of trackies for walking with, and a few things for DD all for $105!!

Low… Hubby found out about an uncle passing away, and made him feel rather alone in the universe of family.

  2. We had a great weekend too. We went for a drive up the mountain and saw para gliders and had a lovely lunch and rainforest walk. Our bubba has his first tooth coming through and has started creeping around on the floor on his tummy!

Sorry to hear about your friend. Your right, she will be fine, it will just take time.

PS. Blogger does that to me too! And it decides to put in or take out spaces. Grrrr…

  4. Hi Chantelle, I'm so sorry about your friend's daughter.

My high for the weekend- Snuggling on the couch listening to the rain fall softly on our roof.

My low- Chickpea still isn't here! It's my due date tomorrow.. I was really hoping for brand new hugs from our little one, but I guess it isn't meant to be yet.

  5. Ooh la la, a little Frenchie restaurant, that sounds lovely. I used to love snails *sigh*!

And I'm sorry about your friend's little possum being ill, I hope everything goes as well as possible for her.
