In a Nutshell.

Our Christmas table. Mum went to such an effort. She found out (secretly!) what each persons favourite chocolate or candy was and filled a cute tub full and put it as our place card thingy. Mine are M&M’s. I can happily say I haven’t eaten any… yet.

How Aussie is this? Warm afternoon. In the backyard. Peeling prawns and a few beers. Fair dinkum.

Aunty Sah and Princess Lacey.

Aunty Sah also supplied these completely delicious (best thing I’ve ever tasted!) Christmas cupcakes. Flavour sensation.

Miss Lacey opening up her present from Grandma.

It’s a brand new car!

Mumma, this Christmas business is fun!

She actually squealed as she opened each present. So cute.

Christmas lunch at the airport.

Big girl on holidays at Nanna and Grandad’s.

Asleep in the spa and Dadda’s arms.

Sunset over the river at Hubby’s parents.

And that’s our holiday in a nutshell really. I got some great presents. Hopefully I get around to sharing those with you as well sometime before next Christmas. I got so much chocolate, it’s insane. Altogether I received 78, yes 78 Ferrero Rocher balls. I am thinking I might need to take them to Mum’s house and let them hide out there. Hubby says I just need to show some self control. Easier said then done. I love those little balls of chocolatey goodness. I can justify eating one anyway, anyhow.

What would you do with them? x

  1. It looks like such a lovely day, I can’t get over what a cutie Lacey is, and how she looks like her dad (minus the prawns and beer mind you).

    Happy new year!

  2. I don’t really like Ferrero Rocher’s – but I was gifted about 20 and ate them all 🙁

Sounds (and looks) like a wonderful Christmas Telle!

  3. Self control? Around Ferrero Rochers? No possible in this house. I would let them settle at a different home as well.
You’re pictures look like you had a wonderful holiday 🙂 Happy New Year!

  4. I agree with Diana, there is no such thing around Ferrero Rocher’s.

78? Holy cannoli, that’s a lot. Better wrap thm up and give them to neighbors as awards for being great neighbors!

  5. What a fantastic Christmas! I love Lacey’s expression as she opens her gifts, definitely photos to treasure.

Also love your Mums chocolate idea, I might borrow that one!

    Hope you enjoyed your Christmas.

  6. Wow! I love the table. So pretty and very nice personal touch. That’s def something I will need to do. I also enjoyed seeing your Christmas down under. Oh and those fab, but evil chocolates…share them with anyone and everyone!

  7. Isn’t your mum a sweet secret squirrel! What a lovely idea. Those cupcakes were a work of art too!

But Lacey is by far the most gorgeous little treasure of your Christmas – she is just divinely scrumptious!! Glad you had a lovely Christmas Telle – now to stay away from those FR’s!!

  8. Skye – Thank you so much! We think she’s pretty darn cute too. x

    G – Thanks. x

Kir – Don’t like Ferrero Rochers? That’s plain crazy! 😛 It was a wonderful Christmas. I hope you had a good Chrissy too. x

Diana – I’ve been good so far on the FR front. I think I might be okay, surprisingly.

Weesha – What a bad influence I am!
