How to make this easy Honey Joys recipe
Time needed: 20 minutes
- Get prepped
Preheat your oven to 150°C (fan forced). Line a 24-hole patty pan with cupcake cases, or use 12 muffin cases if you prefer them a little bigger.
- Add the crunch
In a large mixing bowl, pour in your 4 cups of Corn Flakes. Set aside while you make the syrup.
- Melt the magic
In a small saucepan, add 90g butter, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/3 cup of white sugar. Gently heat over medium-low heat, stirring often, until the butter melts and the mixture starts to bubble and turn slightly frothy.
- Mix it all together
Carefully pour the warm mixture over the Corn Flakes. Work quickly to coat everything evenly—you want every flake to get some sticky goodness.
- Spoon into cases
Scoop generous spoonfuls into the cupcake or muffin cases, gently pressing the mixture down a little so it holds together once baked.
- Bake and cool
Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden and glossy. Let them cool completely in the tray so they firm up before serving (if you can wait that long!).

4 cups of Corn Flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150°C. Prepare 24 cupcake cases in a patty pan, or 12 muffin cases.
- In a large bowl, add the Corn Flakes.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter, honey and sugar until the butter has melted and mixture turns slightly frothy.
- Pour the mixture over the Corn Flakes, and mix quickly. Spoon into the prepared patty/muffin cases.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool before eating.
