So, in all my years of blogging {SEVEN YEARS} I don’t believe I’ve ever had so much fun with my little community. This project took fun to a whole new level. A handful of weeks back I gave out 150 little boxes filled with things to get people excited about taking photos, and to encourage them to get a little bit creative. And creative people did get.
Not only were kits sent out in the mail to people, but we also had a little bit more fun and hid the boxes in spots around Australia for people to find. There’s no doubt that Australia is beautiful, but the places that the kits were kindly hidden by friends of mine {who I’ve found through Instagram and the Photo A Day challenge}. Like, seriously, this photo by @hello__jo? Insane. {There’s a little Fun Kit sitting on the doorstep there}.
Here are just a few of the people that found the kits out in the wild.
From clockwise: @beccla, @ollysdownunder, @prettyjenthings @maggstarr
Inside the kits were six little things that could make a big difference: a bottle of bubbles, a tube of glitter, a candle, a sharpie, a mini camera and some cellophane.

So, today I wanted to show off some of the photos taken by the talented people in my photo-taking community. I am beyond impressed. People are so freaking clever it makes me so stinking happy. This is just a selection, and people are still sharing photos each day.

I love Kirsten’s perspective. So clever!

…. Love all the different things that everyone has done with their kits… xxx
I agree! It’s been so fun to see what people have done with the same objects!
The Fun Kit has definitely lived up to its name! Thanks so much for creating such clever prompts x
Thanks for sharing your photos. I loved them, clearly!

This was the most FUN project I’ve had with my girls in ages. And I am thrilled to bits that you’ve included two of my pics above in the gallery!!! Thank you, and Olympus, for creating such a clever, creative project for people all across Australia. The images inspired me and guess what??? I just bought an Olympus ahead of ProBlogger in August. Whoopee. Thank you, Chantelle. You are ACE xx
I wanted to get one so bad! Maybe next time I’ll be lucky enough.
I’ve noticed your mostly followed by women, but my wife stumbled upon your page, and now I am hooked. Having a new baby in the house, all your photography tips are coming in handy, and i’m also doing the photo a day as well. Just so you know, men are enjoying your blog as well haha.
I love coming to your blog even more at the moment because I see two of my kids in this grid! We are loving the fame and just in case I didn’t thank you properly at the time….. thank you for my Fun Kit! It really is very fun.
Sadly, didn’t make it into the reader photography workshop, but on the plus side I just realised I was included in your Fun Kit gallery above. Thanks Chantelle – that’s amazing! x
