I saw these goodies over at Bakerella a few months back when it was Father’s Day in the States. I jotted in the back of brain somewhere, and amazingly I remembered. I don’t know how. But I did. It’s a rare talent.
Let me give you a rundown on what this happy meal entails. The burger is actually a vanilla cupcake with a slice of chocolate brownie inside. All that lettuce and such is coloured icing. Yum. The fries are actually vanilla cookie dusted with sugar. Even yummier.
Hubby would be in heaven if I served him up one of these for Father’s Day. He’s all about icing and brownies. Loves them. Bakerella has even created the food tray and packaging so you can create this all for the Dad{s) in your life.
Unfortunately for Hubby, I’m on Operation: Fat Mum Slim so he misses out. Oh, I know, I’m mean.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t make it though. Go on. xx
oh cripes, i just realised today that father's day is this sunday. what to do/buy/make? eek this is a rather awesome idea if i was super-duper clever at cooking. which i'm not. in fact i probably wouldn't get past the cake batter… i often whip up the batter just to eat as is!
