  1. I loved that house too. I especially love the girls bedroom. So simple and stylish. And the shocks of colour. Beautiful!

I think pink and yellow or pink and turquoise look fab together.

    Congrats on your new domain!

  2. I saw this place and though too that it was sooo lovely. I love all the colours. The chairs are a great shape, so i think what ever colour you decide will be fine. Can you try and save the old transfers on them? I like them and stick them on the back rest or something??!

  3. Amanda – I need more advice from you! Pink and yellow is great, as is pink and turquoise. But how? Stripes. One chair one colour, one the other!

I have no idea at all! At all!

  4. Telle – it IS from Ikea…and let me say it is the BEST bed ever! It is extendable and at the mo we have it at the smallest size. It is a great transition bed. Just love it. I will post some pics on my blog soon.

  5. Wyn. That’s music to my ears!

On Saturday we decided that we would buy a bed for Lacey’s room. We kinda want a single bed so that if she’s being a rat bag, one of us has somewhere to sleep.

Then on Sunday I was trying to figure out with Ma how it would best fit in her room. I then sighed and told her about the bed in the dream house that I love. But buying a little bed was probably a waste of time.

I came upstairs to show her the photos of the bed… and there was the comment from you. An extendable bed is PERFECT!

Now you can complete this fairytale by telling me that the linen was at Ikea too?

I can’t wait to see photos of the bed in your home. Hurry Wyn. xx

  6. I’d paint the whole chair Telle. Thinking about it some more, I’d paint one pink and one turquoise (or aqua or blue). This is all I could think of as an example of my colour choices: http://swishandswanky.blogspot.com/2009/04/birthday-treat.html

You could pull your colours from beautiful Kikki-K stationery. I have their yellow diary this year and I’m thinking of taking it along to the paint store when I’m ready to paint a little cupboard in my entryway.
