I know you must have arrived safely in your new home by now, and we’re already missing you like crazy.
It’s going to be different without you just down the street. Not having you there when we head off for a walk at the beach. Not having you and your crazy antics cracking us up. Not having you to invite me to indulgent, spur of the moment dinners and drinks. Not having you to sing to every song like you’re performing for a stadium filled concert.
I’m going to miss you. I’m going to miss your friendship. I’m going to miss seeing how much you love Lacey. I’m going to miss seeing the way you make Lacey so happy. I’m going to miss the way you make me so happy.
I can’t believe that you’ve actually left. I know it’s not forever. I know I’ll see you soon. I hope the time flies by.
