Ingredients
250g butter, softened
1/2 cup pure icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups plain flour
1/2 cup custard powder
Instructions
1. Line two baking trays with baking paper, and preheat your own to 180ºC.
2. In a food processor or Thermomix, place the butter, sugar and vanilla. Process for 2 minutes, or until everything is combined.
3. Add the flour and the custard powder. Blend in short bursts until just combined {don’t overdo it!}.
4. Roll into balls (around 1/2 a tablespoon in size) and place onto your prepared baking tray. Use the back of a fork to flatten them (if the fork is sticking to the biscuits, you can dip it in some flour). Bake in the oven for 12 minutes or until golden.
