Bali Villa Review: Casa Cherish, Canggu

Casa Cherish

Let me introduce you to one of our absolute favourites—Casa Cherish. We’ve stayed here twice now, and each time it’s felt like our own little slice of tropical paradise. Whether you’re in Bali for the sunsets, the food, or just to relax in style, this villa ticks all the boxes: stunning design, great location, thoughtful touches, and even a pool that actually gets sun (yes, that matters!).

Scroll down for all the reasons we keep coming back—and why Casa Cherish might just be your new go-to Bali base. 🌴💛

What’s to love about Casa Cherish

😎 The architecture and interior design is on point. Okay, call me fickle, but I love how beautiful and aesthetically pleasing this place is. It just makes me happy being there! Every detail is thoughtfully considered, and it’s such a comfy space to stay in.

😎 The air-con situation is 10/10. The entire villa is enclosed and air-conditioned—bliss! A lot of Bali villas have open living spaces, which can be charming but also a mozzie magnet. At Casa Cherish, it’s all cool, calm, and bite-free.

Sunset at Canggu

😎 The pool gets sun! (Important, right?) It’s actually warm enough to swim in comfortably, not shaded and freezing. Yes, my middle name might be “fickle” 🤭

😎 The location is 👌 While it’s a walk from the beach, we don’t swim at Canggu Beach anyway—just go for the sunsets. Casa Cherish is tucked away enough to be peaceful, but close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and all the good things. And if you’re not feeling the walk, a GoJek or taxi is usually $5–$7.

😎 The team is amazing. We’ve stayed at Casa Cherish twice now (in two different villas) and on our first visit, we arrived on Lacey’s birthday—they had decorated her room with balloons and birthday surprises 💕 The hosts are super communicative and helpful. They can even arrange a floating breakfast in the pool if you’re feeling fancy.

😎 Location perks: Within a few minutes’ walk you’ll find Warung RR (meals from $2.50, plus a rooftop spot—bring UNO!), a convenience store, gym/Pilates studio, nail salon, Crate Café, Hot Bamboo Spa, a laundromat, and even a pizza & wings spot. A couple more minutes and you’re on the main road with everything you could need.

What’s not to love

Honestly? Not much. If you want to be right on the beach, this isn’t it—but that’s part of why we love it. We choose Casa Cherish for the peaceful vibe. If we want action, we stay in Seminyak, Legian or Kuta.

🚗 The only downside of staying in Canggu is the traffic—there’s really just one main road in and out, so it can get hectic moving from area to area. Pack your patience, and book a flat-rate driver to keep it stress-free. Once you’re in Canggu though, it’s pretty cruisy!

Outside Casa Cherish

📲 You can book on Booking.com (seems to be the cheapest option), or Airbnb, (I’ve also booked direct with them).

If you’re dreaming of a Bali escape that’s peaceful yet connected, stylish yet down-to-earth—Casa Cherish is everything you want and more. It’s the kind of place that feels like a home away from home (only with better weather, prettier tiles, and floating breakfasts).

Whether you’re a first-timer to Bali or a returning visitor like us, I can’t recommend it enough.
