Ingredients
• 4-5 ripe bananas
• 1 tin condensed milk
• 2 1/2 cups self-raising flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a loaf tin.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until mostly smooth.
- Add the condensed milk and self-raising flour.
- Mix until everything is just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin.
- Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
The riper the bananas, the sweeter your banana bread will be.
This banana bread freezes really well. Slice and freeze portions for easy snacks.
