appy Australia Day everyone. Yes, even you there not living in Australia. I want you to have a good day too.

I’m going to be taking it easy today and BBQing with friends in the sunshine. So while I’m doing that, why don’t you enter into this sweet little giveaway.

    What a great giveaway – this week I'm looking forward to catching up with a friend from Melbourne who I haven't seen in 4 years. I'm so excited that I smile every time I think of it. He's the sort of friend that I can not see for years but when we catch up it's as though we've spoken every day.

    This week, I'm looking forward to starting work! I'm a primary school teacher and was offered a job right at the end of the holidays. Grade 2/3 and the staff at my new school seem to be lovely.

  13. This week I am looking foward to my husband coming home from work (he does FIFO), so that we can celebraye a belated 8th wedding anniversary (it's today) and spend some time together as family with our three gorgeous girls. I think lots of trips to the beach!

But I'm especially looking forward to all those little moments I can't plan – things like my 4 year old picking daisies from the garden for me because she knows I love flowers or the sound of my children giggling together and the scent of beef stroganoff (it's on the menu this week and I haven't had it in AGES!) simmering in the slow cooker.

  29. This week my baby boy starts his first day at 'big school'. There was a moment, in between bringing him home from hospital and this day, that i blinked and suddenly he's 5 and oh so independant. Im looking forward to seeing him start this next adventure in his life while trying to hold the pieces of my heart together at the same time.

  31. I can't wait to fly down to Hobart with my daughter Audrey on Sunday so she can spend 2 weeks with her grandparents, her great nan (aka “big Audrey”), cousins and all our beautiful family and friends.
