I am so in love with this project. I knew it would be fun, I just didn’t know it would be so so so so so so so much fun. It’s fun.
I know some people are asking, WHAT THE HECK IS A FUN KIT AND WHY DO YOU KEEP TALKING ABOUT IT?
So let me tell you in 30 seconds. A Fun Kit is a box of goodies that people can use as photography props. I teamed up with the kind gang at Olympus and we sent 150 kits around the world. People will then use these props to get creative with their photography. You can see what I did with the props here.
So 4000 people signed up to be part of this project, and we could only send 150, so that’s a lot of people that missed out. Today I wanted to share how you can make your own kit, because no one needs to miss out.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN FUN KIT
This couldn’t be easier. All you need to do to make your own kit is to have a candle {in this instance I sent out birthday candles}, a bottle of bubbles, a small container of glitter, a permanent marker, some cellophane, and small toy or figurine {we used cameras, but you could use a little lego figurine}.
It’s that easy. If you want to be one of the first to hear about the next round of Fun Kits that we send out, sign up to my newsletter here.
Wow 4000 – you know it’s a great idea that could be adapted to so many things, like a cheer up kit – I might have to make some and send when my friends need it. xx
I have a list of things I put in a happiness kit with a little bit of paper that explains the contents. Feel free to borrow or adapt it. 🙂
An eraser – to make mistakes disappear
A button – to press in case of panic
A peg – to hold it together when things start to fall apart
A coin – so you are never completely broke
Marbles – iIn case you lose yours
Thanks so much – what a great list. Have a great weekend!
That’s such a cute idea!
I love this Kirsty. xx
I agree! I could be so very awesome and versatile. I’ve been dreaming up ideas since I started. 🙂
