100 Things About Me.

1. I am one of four children.

2. I have an older sister, a younger brother and a younger sister.

3. I have a half-brother that I’ve never met, nor knows we exist.

4. My Mum had us all young. She was 20 when she had me and 17 when she had my sister.

5. I loved having the young, hip Mum. In essence she grew up with us.

6. I couldn’t imagine having a better Mum. She has done a great job with us (if I do say so myself!)

7. I lived on the South Coast (pretty much the Country) for the first 18 years of my life.
8. I then moved to the big smoke to start Live-In Nannying.

9. I found the City to be an exciting place. With all the traffic, the lights, the people and the new foods.

10. I would drive the three hours home each weekend to spend it with my family. I was very home sick during the week.

11. I have pretty much always been tubby. I started putting on weight at about 8 years.

12. Something happened when I was a kid that I think relates to my weight problem.

13. My weight was at its highest when I was 18.

14. I was pretty miserable and didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin.

15. I then got really sick with Glandular Fever and dropped about 10 kilograms in a matter of weeks.

16. I kept losing weight once I moved to the City and dropped another 15 kilograms.

17. When I was at a low weight my Nanna asked if she could take a photo of me because I “wouldn’t be this skinny for very long”

18. Sadly, she was right. My weight yo-yo-ed for years after that, and still has.

19. I have been a member of Weight Watchers at least 10 times.

20. The first time I joined was when I was 14.

21. My Dad is overweight as are most of his family.

22. Unfortunately (or fortunately for my siblings) I was the only one of us four kids that got his genes.

23. I met my Hubby when I was out celebrating my 22nd birthday.

24. We have a great story of how we met to tell Lacey when she is old enough to listen.

25. I knew that I was going to fall in love with him when I met him.

26. We laughed so much that night, and haven’t stopped laughing since.

27. Sometimes I feel like my life is surreal. I feel so lucky to be married to Hubby. To be living this life.

28. I know that we’ll be married forever and grow old together.

29. Hubby has cooked about 98% of meals since I fell pregnant.

30. I have tried cooking since having Lacey and failed miserably.

31. I used to be a great cook and had many dinner parties under my belt.

32. My speciality is (or was) lamb cutlets and vegetables with chocolate pavlova for dessert.

33. I could eat chocolate pavlova until it came out my nose.

Part 2 + Part 3 to come. *yawn*

  1. Looks like I happened upon your blog at the right time! Just in time to get a crash course! I tried one of these things and got exhausted. I definately understand why you had a part 1-3…I wasn’t that smart when I did it. lol.

Thanks for the compliment about my blog topic. I’m glad to help. You *should* appreciate where you are – many people would “kill” to be your size and look like you! 🙂
