Putting the pool in at home was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and while it was an expensive outlay, we spend 6 months of the year in our pool (thanks to a pool heater – means we get more use out of it!). Each year I buy the girls pool toys for them to use (usually at Christmas) with their friends, and they’re always a huge hit. They’re not expensive, and they give hours of fun for everyone.
One of the best things you can do, to save your poor lungs from blowing up the inflatable toys, is get yourself the rechargable Kmart air pump – it’s a lifesaver, and gets them inflated quickly!

BIG W
Somersault Inflatable Ring Float, $8
My girls love spending their pool time floating away in these rings, or jumping into them, and diving out of them!
Kmart
Colourful 6-pack dive rings, $5
Imagine this: You’re lazing by the pool (perhaps a cocktail in hand), and you idly toss these rings into the pool while your kids quietly dive to retrieve them. Peaceful, eh? Worth the five bucks, IMO!
Rebel
Koala drencher, $12.99
Fill it up, give it a toss, and watch the water burst out for a soaking good time!
Kmart
Inflatable basketball and ring toss, $8
This kit includes Includes an inflatable hoop, inflatable ball, inflatable rings and repair patch, and is great for a game of aqua basketball.
BIG W
Somersault Dive Sticks, $8
These will be one of the best buys this summer, because they provide hours (and hours!) of fun for kids as they dive to retrieve them, all while building their water confidence.

Dive balls, $19.99
Toss these dive balls into the water and watch them sink, twist, and wiggle their way to the bottom, and then dive down to retrieve them.
Kmart
Inflatable Translucent Wand, $5
While you may think these would be good for magical fairy adventures, I’m imagining these would be fun for doinking each other and playing around in the pool!
Amazon
Torpedo Diving Toy Rockets, $15.99
If you’ve ever played with these before, you’ll know the joy and fun it can be to get these to torpedo through the water. You send them down, and the kids go and find them.
A little note. For the past 15 years, I’ve loved writing and sharing my life, the good and bad, with you, my beautiful readers. Over those years I’ve often recommended products, and services that I’ve tested, tried and/or researched. Off my blog, I’ve always been the person that people go to to ask, “Do you know what the best X is?” I’ll often publish blog posts or guides to products that I’m having fun researching, and would recommend. Some of those posts, like this one, may include paid inclusions (where I may receive a small commission at no cost to you), but I promise to only feature products that I have or would happily buy myself. Honesty and transparency is, and always will be super important to me, because I know it’s important to you too.
