The best plus size jeans for curvy women

If there’s one thing you’ll find in most wardrobes, it’s jeans. Denim is easy to wear, and super versatile – it can be worn for more casual looks, or dressed up for a night out. Plus size jeans are every curvy girl’s best friend. I’ve worn many styles over the years, and done some research, and have created a list of the best plus size jeans. Take a look at an array of styles below.

What are the best plus size jeans?

Depending on what you wear your denim for, will depend on what jeans are the best for you. When shopping I always go for a little stretch because comfort is the way to happiness for me. Any denim that has a little stretch in it, will mean an ease to move about. I find that it generally goes back to shape after washing too. If you want something a little more fitted, you might like to skip the stretch though. Scroll below to see the best plus size jeans, according to all the different styles available.

How to dress up plus size jeans?

The best things about plus size denim jeans is that they can go from day wear to night wear with the swift change of a shoe, or top. A skinny leg jean is a good jean for dressing up. Add a top with a little sparkle or slightly more fitted will make it into a night-time outfit.

What I look for:

When looking for the best jeans in each category, I look at a few different aspects, like I do when shopping for myself.

Size range: I look for sizing that at least goes to a 24, but I like when they go to a 26, or even 30. I know it can be challenging for brands to extend their sizing, but when they do, they definitely get my respect.

Comfort: I don’t think denim should be uncomfortable. While sometimes stretchy jeans can lose shape quickly, I like when they have a little stretch to make them easy to move in, and comfortable to wear.

Price: You’ll notice that 99% of the below jeans are really affordable, with only one pair over the $200 mark. I have a pair of the Embody Denim jeans, and while they’re more expensive you can definitely feel it in the quality and you can wear them for years and years, plus they’re made in Australia.

Cut: Curvy bodies vary, and are definitely different from straight-size bodies. I think plus size jeans should consider tummies, hips and thighs!

A little note. For the past 15 years, I’ve loved writing and sharing my life, the good and bad, with you, my beautiful readers. Over those years I’ve often recommended products, and services that I’ve tested, tried and/or researched. Off my blog, I’ve always been the person that people go to to ask, “Do you know what the best X is?” I’ll often publish blog posts or guides to products that I’m having fun researching, and would recommend. Some of those posts, like this one, may include paid inclusions (where I may receive a small commission at no cost to you), but I promise to only feature products that I have or would happily buy myself. Honesty and transparency is, and always will be super important to me, because I know it’s important to you too.
